Motorpoint Birmingham awful. We purchased a vehicle that had problems from day 1. Sales manager made promises which were broken no help at all. However motorpoint derby customer services couldn't be more helpful and exchanged the car.

Personally I am very disappointed with the way this branch has started to go down hill. Both my father-in-law and my husband and I have had several cars from here. When we first had cars they were great. However, you start to learn that each seller there has different pitches that begin to unravel the longer you stay leasing a car. Things such as we don't sell cars over 30,000 miles so keep it under that if you want to exchange again (even though they are selling cars with 45000 on the lot, you don't need to be honest about your yearly mileage if you may change cars etc. Not good advice. Especially if the equity in your car goes down and down. None of the sellers are consistent. Each saying different things. You go to a new rep and they disagree with the person that last sold you a car from the same place. If you say you are going to go elsewhere to get a better deal they turn so quickly in to a grumpy, unhelpful disgrace. Oh and to just check the equity in our car took over half an hour because they drag it out as long as possible. Saying they need to go to some big boss" in an office in the corner that is never seen. Do not be pulled in by them and all their smoke and mirrors techniques. Only buy from here if you can play a better game than them. As you will end up in a bad position if you can't."

I bought a car from here approx 2 week ago. I was told by a member of staff the car was ready but It wasn't as there had been miss communication as lad was off during all the conversations. The main manager seen that I had made my way from Lancashire and had to go away with no car. He was so kind about it and even gave me a courtesy car for my troubles. This helped massively. I have the car now and car got me home nice and didn't miss a beat. Safe to say I will be using this place again in the future Patrick was amazing. Thanks guys.if your getting your first car this place would be the best for experience.

KEEP AWAY! Take your money to a more reputable company.Receptionist at oldbury Leteshia is lovely and very helpful, however the whole company as a whole is a let down! I brought a car 7weeks ago, when it was advertised it said it came with sensors however it did not! I raised the issue at Aston as this is where I collected the vehicle. The oldbury branch tried to rectify the issue with bright white sensors that did not match my car! (Fitted by Mike, the mechanical supervisor)The customer service manager Pav then went on to say “I couldn’t believe they sent you away like that” however I didn’t receive any sort of communication from him regarding the matter.I then went back the second time, the day before I went I had a call to get the serial number of the car to match the sensors correctly however they still do not match! They’re also not original BMW sensors- which I could live with, it’s just the colour! Please see the attached photosTo top it all off the AdBlue notification has now popped up and makes me think why hasn’t the car had any checks before selling it on!?Oh and I still do no have my V5!I just want to give the car back and start again, somewhere I will be taken care of properly. No one wants to help me now I have issues to raise, Yet was very happy to call and respond asap when selling a vehicle. Just been passed around and not being heard at all!! No faith in the car or the company. It’s just a joke, no client after care at all.

Have bought a car from here in the past and sold a car today. Easy process basically like a main dealer would treat you if not better. Would recommend buying a car from Motorpoint as they tend to be low mile cars with manufacturers warranty.

Sold my Audi A8 at Motorpoint Birmingham today, was half expecting them to get their magnifying glass out to find imperfections and re negotiate the price, they didn’t! It took them 45 minutes to check the car over and money was in my account within seconds.The price offered was better than we buy any car but not amazing, was fair for a quick, hassle free sale!Lost 1 star because of the cold, unwelcoming and frankly depressing waiting area.

On Friday I spent a lot of time on the phone to your call centre, checking that as I was making the journey from London to Birmingham and my dad was driving the car from Stoke to Birmingham as your Derby branch is flooded and I live in London, which is why I was selling the car due to ULEZ that this would not be a wasted journey. We were reassured the business was customer orientated and unless the door was hanging off then the valuation would remain the same. I talked through the car with the person on the line and also explained we were making the journey. He booked us in for 3pm yesterday, however it was a wasted journey. We weren’t seen or spoken to for half an hour, despite having an appointment, we had to go up and ask and then we were offered £2,500 less than what was offered online and via the phone – despite talking through the car and being assured by your colleague it was a total waste of our time and effort.
