Tangier Road Post Office
This is now the 4th time I have gone before closing hours to only be told sorry we’re closed. When reminded that they close at 5 (this was at 4.40) to then be told oh we don’t have enough staff (there were 5 on shift). Either close it down completely or staff it properly. Every sector is suffering but this is beyond a joke.

Always using the excuse that the systems are down when understaffed or due to be working extended hours at the Coop store.Be prepared that you might be wasting your time travelling to this branch to be faced with their excuses time after time.

Says closes at 5 on website, went in just after 4.30 and was told they close at 4.30 waste of time they said do not believe what is on website!! Think they make their own mind up when to close .

Super rude lady on the phone, kept refusing my phone call. Saying she was the only person on shift which I understand isn’t her fault unless she is a manager. Get more staff and also better customer service

Be prepared to be turned away and have your time wasted if you go anytime after 15:00. Expect excuses such as they've closed before whatever time you turn up, or the system is down" - even though it's stated 17:00 is the time it should be closed. Had this happen to me more than once so won't be using this post office again."

Have come to my local post office during opening hours - obviously.To be told there is at least a 10 min wait because the person who should be behind the counter is taking a break. I get that but in every line of business I’ve worked in, when providing a service to the public, no cover = no break!!!!

Went there to collect a small parcel as the Royal mail wouldn't give me the option to collect it from the Voyager Park depot, and i didn't want to anoy my neighbours with the parcel. Got there after finishing early to find out it had been shut on Thursday 21/9/23 due to a network upgrade". Coudn't find anywhere online advising that this would be the case. Now hoping that I get a chance to collect it before they return the parcel as i work silly hours. Based on the reviews of others i will not be booking a day off as i have no idea if they are ever open or will stick to their posted opening hours.Would love to give 0 stars."

Absolute waste of anyone’s time. Staff are constantly late, leaving early or just not there at all. They inconvenience local people needing to use their services over and over again and I’m honestly shocked the place is even still running at all. Avoid.

Never open on time hardly ever staffed enough always queues of people regardless of being early or dead on opening time. Staff can be rude and miserable.

Post Office a shambles! Web site says it opens at 0830, I asked one of the staff why it wasn't open, apparantly this is down to area manager Tony Scott not knowing what he is doing (throw him under the bus why don't you). Returned at 0900 when it is supposed to open to find four staff behind the counter, none of them able to open the safe. People wonder why the Royal Mail is in trouble. Tangier Road Post Office is a good example of why.
