It's different! Friendly and clean, but ... different! If you're easily offended by 'savoury' language and banter, probably best to keep on walking! Otherwise, worth a visit.

This place has had a huge change inside recently. Excellent decor within, helpful staff, great setup for darts and pool. Brand new toilets. They have local musicians and DJ's playing at weekends. It's the Inn place to go in Kirkcudbright.

Ultra modern, friendly staff and locals too!We had a couple of drinks, sat outside in the sun. No complaints at all, decent drinks and reasonable prices.

Great pub and dog friendly, the only thing was if I did not see people sitting at outdoor bench with drinks I would have walked past it.

A wee bit of an odd place. The decor suggested an LGBT+ dance club, while the locals were all big football lads, chatting away and watching the scores come in. But it was nice, clean, decently priced and the staff were friendly.we ended up staying for quite a few.

We visit this pub each year when we are here for the Tattoo. Really friendly bunch of lads, if not a little ripe with their language. It's what the pub is about. Down to earth people. Would recommend 100%

Grabbed a quick pint & sat outside too watch the Scottish night across the road in the car park!Very friendly welcome & service, the whole place was very clean & tidy, plus they were dog friendly!
