The Mermaid
Great venue. The views are spectacular and watching boats on the river is fairly therapeutic. The staff are very accommodating, in particular one member of staff sourced a dessert for me that was dairy free. My only complaint was the auditorium was cold.

The venue is lovely, with great staff and facilities. The only downside is that it is a bit of a maze. We kept having to move back and forth. Also, we had to stand up for lunch (which a lot of us were not expecting), but the food was great, and there was a variety, from chicken and rice to vegan macaroni and cheese.

Security staff treats guests like they are 2 years old. British health and safety paranoia will never cease to amaze me, it's quite ridiculous!

Friendly, efficient and helpful staff. A comfortable venue. Handy for transport links. Very near Blackfriars station and bus links.Although my phone signal was good something kept interfering with it and it was a nightmare to connect to the internet whilst in or near the building. Hence the loss of 1 star. Also, the seats were a bit hard.

The venue was good, catering was very reasonable.Let down by the lack of seating for the venue size and when I did sit out of the way in the foyer, was asked to move by a security guard. Rest assured I did not as this was an unreasonable request. I don't blame the individual, I am sure this was his instructions, but they were senseless

Great place for a central London wedding breakfast and party. Plenty of space, perfect location with killer views and tasty food. I photographed a wedding there recently and would recommend it!

Very nice event location with multiple rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely views over the Thames from the river side rooms.

Great event venue. Close to a paid carpark and just a few minutes from Blackfriars Station.
