would not go anywhere else, they always look after my cavalier henry and he is always well cared for. the staff are brilliant 5star plus. i cant understand why people leave negatives. if people are late picking there pets up expect to be charged, its a business not a charity.

NOT HAPPY AT ALL!! My dog was booked in for 2 nights which I had paid £30 deposit and was told that there will be £6 to pay on collection which was fine. When I dropped my dog off on the Friday afternoon this old woman was absolutely vile, she was so rude. She caught an attitude as soon as I got there just because I wasn’t told about bringing my dog’s vaccination records (blame your young staff for not telling me then) they then took my dog off me straight away. On the Sunday morning when we collected him it was the same old woman, she didn’t say hello nor did she say bare with me (as she was dealing with a different customer) me and my mum was waiting aside to be greeted by someone so we could collect my dog. I then made a comment and said “this is great customer service” which then made her say something finally, she opened her mouth and said I’m sorry but can’t you see we are busy here I’m dealing with this (meaning the customer) I said I get that but you haven’t even said hello you are so rude and I don’t appreciate how you are speaking to me all I want is to get my dog back. I stated she was rude when I dropped him off and she still had the same attitude, she then said “ there is a 3rd night charging fee, or I take it you wasn’t told that either” I said no I wasn’t told that and this is not his 3rd night he was booked in for 2 nights only! We are collecting him in the morning so how is it 3 nights” she then said oh forget it and so i said get me your card machine so I can get out of your hair considering you are so busy, she practically threw it on the desk at me and walked off in a huff. Someone else brought my dog out FINALLY! And she stormed past me pulling an awful face which didn’t suit her :) Would not recommend this place their attitude is disgusting, my dog come back thirsty as anything and hasn’t stopped scratching. I left my dog here for 7 days no problem leaving her friendly, but when I picked her up I asked if everything was ok any problems and they said no problems lied to my face, as when I got home I noticed a cut under her chin…. Wont be using them again….Just had a telephone call from them and they never lied to me, didn’t notice it , so that means there not looking after them properly 24/7 like advertised. Just stating facts ✌️

Would not recommend.We went to view the cattery and were greeted by 2 very young scared looking staff. They looked lost and confused and barely said a word to us. We were half arsed shown around, no conversation or talk of how it all works.My questions, which were met with more lost expressions and pauses before answers. I asked for daily updates and images. This seemed to be an odd request going by her reaction, but I was told yes they could email me and a note was made regarding this.When it came to the drop off day I wanted to wait until the last moment to drop the cats off, but I realised I didnt know what the latest time was. I had emailed the day before, but no reply. I had to call a few times to get through to someone, and when I did she didn't seem sure with the answer.We took the cats in, and having not heard from them from the day we went in and booked, I had to get all the information I could from their website. At this point they asked about the cats dietary needs. But I was never asked what the cats likes and dislikes were. The woman who dealt with us when we dropped the cats off came across very cold, not at all chatty and a bit rude to be honest. Never smiled once. I asked again about being sent daily updates and pictures and she too looked like the previous member of staff, sort of a shocked. Nearly, if not all, of the other catteries I'd looked at offered this service. Why is it so difficult to understand why a pet owner would want this? I watched her write something down about how we wanted to be emailed daily and confirmed my email address.However, I was never emailed once. I emailed but it went unanswered, just as the one before. I tried to call and nobody answered. So I found a mobile number from their website and text that. I received a reply saying 2 of the cats were a bit shy. And then whilst away my following messages were ignored or answered very simply with few words. I never received images. I did not raise this as an issue this whilst away, as I began reading reviews and it didn't look good. It appears in the last 9ish months the cattery has gone down hill a bit with their service, and I didn't want them to take out frustration on the cats by not feeding them or something.On collection day our flight had been delayed and we were too late to pick the cats up. I was really upset, I'd missed them everyday and not really heard or seen how they were as I was promised. I tried to call to ask what time was the latest I could pick them up, but nobody answered.The next morning I received a text from them asking if I was picking the cats up today. I was livid. My texts asking how they were had gone ignored and the last text I'd sent was 3 days prior asking if they had any pictures as me and the kids missed them was also ignored. Yet as soon as it comes to getting paid they're right on chasing me before the cattery was even open. They definitely care more about money than they do about the animals. And the customer service is shocking.When we arrived to pick them up we had the same woman who had dealt with us at drop off. This time I refrained from much communication and left my husband to deal with that and paying whilst I got the cats. The 2 shy cats walked straight into their boxes, which had been a chore to get them in on the way there to drop them off. The woman was more pleasant this time oddly.I would not use this cattery again and I would not recommend them. In my opinion they don't care about animals. I understand they are busy and can't be on the phones all the time, but don't say you will provide a service when you can't or won't. They can't use the excuse that they couldn't take pictures of the 2 shy cats, because what about the 1 that wasn't shy? What about the updates? Even if they'd have just answered me to say sorry can't get images right now as 2 are shy but will try later". Awful customer service. If you can't provide the service then don't agree to it

Dog looked really well when I picked him up. Very clean. Lovely caring and polite staff. Will definitely b going again.
