Woodlands Golf Driving Range

I'm rating it 5 stars because I went Sunday and the staff behind the counter was lovely and the prices isn't that bad either

Really good place to practice your golf. Staff are really friendly and helpful it's incredibly clean and affordable. enjoy coming on a regular basis especially when it's raining and you can't get on the course.

Lovely staff & it always seems busy but there is never a wait for a mat. It’s Cash only so make sure you have some on you!

Great fun for something to do paid £13 for two of us. We got two golf clubs and 90 balls each. Friendly staff. Loads of parking definitely go if you dont have much to do or if you want to practice on your drive.

My wife likes this place. Not a majorly busy place which is great. They allow me to spectate and take pics whilst she is emptying the basket of balls. 3 choices, small basket, medium and large. Different size tees for under the mats. Staff here are always friendly and polite. Very helpful and you can also hire a club if you don't have one. Cash only which is seriously the only downside but not worth taking a star away. Definitely deserving of 5 stars from what we have experienced.

Very easy. Turn up, pay for golf balls, go to a booth and hit some balls. Can buy golf gloves and hire club(s) for £1 I believe (don't quote me on that)Will be attending more often.

It is a good facility. The mats are in great condition, the prices are fair, there are different height tees if you ask at the counter, and a decent selection of targets and distance markers to aim at. But twice now I have been turfed out a good amount before the advertised closing time of 9pm. On Monday I turned up earlier at 7:45pm to give myself an hour to hit a jumbo basket (having previously been turfed out at 8:45pm). They came around and asked us to finish up by 8:30pm. I still had half a basket left which I didn't get to hit. This is twice in a row I've been sold a large basket and then asked to leave early, before using what I paid for. Looking for alternatives but sadly there aren't many options for driving ranges in the evening. Be warned, on a Monday night at least, you may be asked to leave early.

CASH ONLY! But there is a free cashpoint at the garage opposite. Really nice driving range, mats/tees etc are in great condition. Cost is very reasonable. Basic facilities inside but you're going there to hit balls at the end of the day! Tees are £1 deposit and seemed to only come in one height, wad perfect for me but I know it would be too high for some.
