They did a good job of PAT testing but fell down by also doing socket testing without asking. I later found that there was a note in the small print that said they would do it if you didn't ask the operative not to do it. Not the correct way of doing business!

Beware of the auto opt in of socket testing so an extra £50 was added to the bill even though I didn’t ask for this service and when questioned I was told I have to opt out of this. Absolute con. They could have easily refunded that and I would have used them again but out of principle I will not use them again. And I can’t understand how you’d do a pat test without unplugging the computer! Avoid

SCAMMERS!!!!! Do not use!!!If I could give no stars I would.. absolute disgrace! Anybody working for this company should be ashamed! This company make money by suggesting to be working with your original contractor to your staff and arrange to come out and see you and once you realise they are scamming you they wack you with an appointment fee and a further charge for terminating the meeting! They will record phone conversations that would suggest that we arranged the meeting even though they are cold calling and throw this at you when in dispute I have just had to pay £108 for absolutely nothing!!! If I hadn’t paid no doubt they would have tried to take this further and thrown further charges this is how they make their money AVOID at all costs!!!

This company are professional tricksters. Their company logo (also worn by their staff on a uniform) gives the impression that they are an official authority/body. When they phone they give this impression also when they speak to staff and indicate they must visit to do the testing. They are a limited company only. I have an existing contract to manage my fire extinguishers and PAT testing with another local Somerset company with whom I am very happy with. We have had that contract for about 4 years. A staff member from UK Safety Management came to our shop/workshop in September after supposedly arranging an appointment with a junior staff member in my business. As company Director I asked what he was doing and advised him that we do not use UK Safety Management Ltd. He had already removed about 50% of the appliance labels by the time I came into the premises even though the existing labels had our normal contractors logo clearly stated and the expiry date had not been reached. I told him there must have been a misundertanding so he stopped and said he would report it back to his main office in Leeds. I am surprised that their staff member didnt question why he was undertaking a job that was not yet due to be completed. Even though I cancelled his visit on the day, we were threatened by legal action on the phone for not paying. Their letter chasing payment to our company has a non recognised Director name on its Header and states the certificate will be issued after payment. This is Impossible, because they didnt do the work. Unfortunately our accounts paid to keep the peace so we have learnt our lesson the hard way. Dreadful organization and very deceitful tactics used.

I’ve used Uk management for over 7 years and I certainly won’t be using them again. They always do my pat testing and then all of a sudden spoke to me about my fire extinguishers and I clearly said they been done my another company so don’t need doing I go away on holiday and they send a guy around to test them charging me £98 odd pounds. Also looking at your previous reviews Uk management have a very bad habit of doing this. You lost a very good customer here over £98 not happy at all!

AVOID!!!Watch out for the Opt out" options on your testing that they don't tell you about. I wanted PAT testing done to some equipment and was told I would pay the same as last year. However they charged me extra for plugs and said this was an Opt out option. Which I knew nothing about and so they added it to the invoice. Very sneaky way to get extra money from customers. Engineers are told not to ask if u have opted out either when on site!!!"

Fire extinguisher service last year went really well and we had a lovely engineer who arrived on time and discussed price options with us, everything was really efficient and a good service. This year has been awful. They cancelled an appointment 5 hours after it was due and only contacted me after I emailed to check what was happening as it was my day off and I'd come in especially. We rearranged another morning appointment for a few days later and I explained it needed to be in the morning due to the business hours. We were promised a 10am-12pm appointment. Again, they didn't turn up. Got a call at 4.40pm to say they were coming now and put us last because we were closer to where the engineer lived?! Why book us in for a morning appointment then? The 'engineer' was like a dodgy sales con artist and kept trying to get as much money out of us as possible, even though we'd paid loads last year. Sadly it seems that everyone else recently have had similar experiences.

Turned up to one of our customers to find your stickers all over the extinguishers. The owner did not know you had been, your engineer had even tried to remove the last service date off our sticker. Cold calling at its finest.

I agree with the other comments, this company is a con/scam. Avoid and use a reputable company instead. They added two additional services to our invoice without our permission and these were never discussed or requested. £50 for socket testing" and £10 for microwave testing.When I called to query these
