Middlesbrough Little Theatre Club

At Little Theatre Social Club for a relatives wake. We were welcomed into a warm and comfortable large and cosy seating area, just what was needed on cold and blustery day. Staff were cheerful and it helped lighten a sombre occasion. Buffet presented was of excellent quality, with a good selection to suit all tastes, all freshly made and clearly labelled. No paper plates or plastic utensils but delicate china and silverware. Believe the social club is private, for the use of members of The Little Theatre Group so especially grateful to them for allowing the wake to be held there and making a sad occasion bearable.

The Saturday night Home of Unpopular Music" nights are superb

80s live event was great- needed better arrangements regards the bar - queues were huge. Danced all night - great atmosphere

Lovely local theatre with friendly staff and good productions. The Christmas Carol by Chapterhouse tonight was excellent in getting over Dickens' thoughts on greed versus generosity and love for your fellow human beings.Nice sound quality, decent seats and an intimate setting - you're never too far from the stage make for an enjoyable evening. Excellent staff. Very friendly and obliging.My grandson left behind, a small cuddly toy. I enquired about it and later the next day a member of staff 'phoned me to s ay it had been found.

Lovely atmosphere with great live entertainment in their studio room. The bar staff are lively & the gigs they put on out the back are to a high standard

Dreadful experience for elderly mother & father. Group seated in front were able to drink heavily throughout, continuously getting up to go to the bar. By the second half they were completely out of control, stood up entire time, despite being told to sit down by staff twice. Continued to be served alcohol & stopped people behind seeing any of it. Best of it was my mother of 75 had her bag searched upon arrival for alcohol. They don’t mind you getting COMPLETELY $&!¥ FACED in there however, as long as they are making on it.

Love watching their dramas. Don't forget to order your drinks for interval.
