Halifax

Went to the branch to switch my current account from another bank to Halifax on 23.06.18. Today is 07/07/2018...and I'm still waiting for my card! Switch has happened on 03/07/18 so I can see my account online, but I can't use my money in a shop or take any cash out. My card from another bank is obviously inactive now, and I don't have a Halifax card...Emailed to Halifax about it on 02/07/18, nothing happened still...

Both cards failed payments in a shop while on first day of holiday here. The staff were rude and would not help me as it was close to closing time on a Saturday. I was told to ring a number which we know goes round in circles. We'll I hope the staff are left on holiday without a pound yourself one day and your washing never dries. You can #### OFF

Waited 75 mins to be told i didnt have the right bits of paper yet they were checked when i checked in

I would like to thank this branch they are always so helpful I have been banking with this HALIFAX for over 20ys and I have never been so treated well by VANESSA BENTLEY a lovely Brazilian lady very professional. Had a appointment with her and I think she deserves this to show how amazing customer services she is. She exceeded my expectations she help with all my banking ! Appalling customer service. Every time I visit this branch it always infuriates me. Nice touch to be greeted when you arrive BUT what does this person actually do? Had to wait almost thirty minutes to withdraw money from sons account using passbook at counter. There was only one person in front of me who was being served but your member of staff was clearly having problems with the computer. Another member of staff came along and was more interested in offering their colleague a break than dealing with the queue of customers forming. Meanwhile your greeter is just stood there seemingly chatting to another member of staff completely oblivious to the number of people waiting to be served. Finally another member of staff opened another till at the counter and summoned me to be served . No apology offered for keeping me waiting. I raised my views and was simply asked if I did online banking quite how that could work with the type of account I have I fail to understand. Used to frequent your west swindon branch before it closed never got this kind of service there. Seriously considering closing my kids accounts and moving them elsewhere.

Nice people to help in Halifax. Nice bank.

Halifax has been recently refurbished and unfortunately it doesn't want customers to use its tills but the ATMs. Last time I went, there was a long wait only for the machines to break down and be turned away. Staff said that the tills couldn't be opened. So a bank where you can't bank or have choice in how you bank. Halifax should listen to its customers otherwise the nice new bank opposite open 7 days a week will be taking your custom including mine.
