Enterprise Car & Van Hire - Llanelli

Terrible service. They charged my card over £1k and I'm still trying to find out why. My last rental was back in November 2022!!! The manager Dan at the office is very unhelpful, not returning my calls. Shockingly poor service considering that someone at the company has ran my AMEX without any prior contact. I've never dealt with such incompetence. Don't use them.

My car had to be taken to the garage awhile back, desperately needed to hire a car, after a quick search in Google found Enterprise who were local so visited their branch in Llanelli, very friendly and professional staff, I can't thank the Branch Manager Alex & Sal enough thanks guys! Will always use your company and would highly recommend your vehicle hire services :)

Shocking service, spoke to head office on the Thursday booked to collect van on the Friday morning for collection at 8.30, was called at 8.15 to tell me the van wouldn’t be ready till 10.00 that morning, I was already on my way to pick the vehicle up. I sat around until 10.30 then was told they hadn’t got the van I wanted until Tuesday. Then I had to wait for lift to pick me up.Never use these ever again.

The vehicles and general customer service are good, BUT BEWARE, don't get get caught in a bus lane or speeding.The fine gets sent to Enterprise and they will zap you with a very hefty admin charge for the privilege of forwarding you the fine. This gets taken automatically from your bank as they have your card details.

Aaron and Shane were so helpful. They saved our house move and went the extra mile, haha! Definitely would recommend.

Branch Manager was exceptionally attentive…This weekend we hired a Luton Van with Tail Lift from the Llanelli Branch of Enterprise.As an experienced Operations Manager, I know how service delivery can be impacted due to circumstances out of everyone's control. We initially had requested a Mercedes Sprinter, but chose to upgrade to the Luton to save on fuel and this resulted in a delay to us receiving the van; however, the service we received from the Branch Manager (Alexander Marchant) was second to none. He was well presented, charming and attentive, whereby he demonstrated the vehicle and all of it's features, advised me in relation to optional services, and gave additional advice from his own experience in driving a similar vehicle. Also, he demonstrated a genuine interest in our use of the vehicle, remembering previous conversations etc.Upon returning the vehicle this morning, Alexander was again attentive, efficient and well presented, and an absolute pleasure to deal with. He is a real asset to the branch as it's manager, and to Enterprise as a whole. Asking how the house move went and as a result of his customer service alone, next time I need to hire a vehicle for personal or work purposes, I will be using the branch at Llanelli!

Shocking customer service. Takes £300 to hire a car off them. While advertising the car is in stock. Phoned me 5 minutes before I’m meant to collect the car to say they don’t have any cars and can’t help. It will take 7 days for the money to come back to me. It’s not good enough I now have to spend another £300 somewhere else to get a vehicle.Shocking customer service couldn’t be arsed to check other branches. Quick enough to take your money but can’t provide the goods

TL;DR: I cancelled in good time and still got charged because someone didn't do their job correctly.I'd used this service previously with little issue other than a staff member being somewhat negligent and asocial when I was returning a vehicle.However this time I'm very disappointed and it's put me off using their service altogether.I had reserved a vehicle for an upcoming journey but received a phone call to ask about my licence. Since I have recently moved my address was not updated on my licence yet and I was told I would need to use a credit card instead. Understandable.I then asked if I could cancel my reservation since I would likely not be able to get my address updated soon enough (2 weeks), and I don't own a credit card. This was no problem, I was told I would have a refund shortly.I waited. No refund. Now a couple of days before the journey, which I am now taking by public transport, I receive a text and an email reminding me of my reservation. The reservation I had cancelled.I log in online and see that this hasn't been cancelled at all like the staff member had so confidently assured me and now with it being so close to the date of 'pickup' I have only been offered a partial refund, despite telling them that I didn't need their services far earlier than this.Needless to say, just moved and trying to be careful with money, I am less than impressed. Angry, even. I did my job in cancelling. I understand that human error is a thing but when I am assured that a process has been completed and later find out that it's going to deprive me of money I rather need, through no fault of my own, I'm going to be upset about it!

The team at Llanelli are to be commended. They have kept me informed over the last 48 hours of when to expect a car.Today they went the extra mile, delivered my car and made the whole process uncomplicated and straightforward.I would without hesitation recommend Enterprise, your customer service is excellent, and my hire car is just what I need for the next couple of weeks.Many thanks all.Kind regardsBeverly Rees
