I stayed at Beacon Farm Campsite for 2 nights. I was looking for a campsite where I could stay in my van and after phoning around a few campsites and not getting anywhere I spoke to Aidan who was very helpful and advised they would be able to accommodate me.The campsite has beautiful scenery, a nature trail and a really nice area centrally of wild flowers and sunflowers. It also has a scenic walk to Whitby which I did and directions can be picked up from from reception. There are clean showers and toilets, small lockers to charge up your gadgets if needed, a cafe on site that sells their own Beacon Farm ice cream which I noticed is sold everywhere in Whitby! I had a really nice stay at Beacon Farm and would definitely stay there again and recommend to anybody looking for a peaceful, relaxing break.

Had a fantastic stay camping at Beacon Farm. We received a very warm welcome on arrival with all the helpful info we needed during our stay. Very clean and well kept facilities, campsite and play area were very well maintained. We couldn't stay on an ice cream farm and not try the ice cream...it was delicious and such a good selection of flavours! It was lovely to see how many cafes/food vendors also sell the ice cream, we noticed quite a few when out in Whitby for the day.We had our breakfast in the tea room which was also spot on (we are vegetarian and thought it was really good to see plenty of vegetarian options available) bought some of the jam and chutney that was also made a the farm as gifts. Highly recommend this site for families, great location for visiting Whitby and surrounding areas.

Stayed at Beacon farm campsite for two days as part of camping trip around Yorkshire. What a wonderful campsite! The back fields were full of sunflowers and wildflowers which made for some awesome insta worthy photos! And were planted up with pumpkins which I’m sure will be impressive in October! The toilets and showers where spotless and nice and private, the camp field was immaculate and mowed to perfection even with all the rain they weren’t a bog and the cafe did the one of the best full English breakfasts I’ve had! The ice cream was of course amazing and the kids loved having an ice cream shop on site! Will definitely come back for another stay! With beautiful views of Whitby, the Abby and the sea and really friendly helpful staff there’s not a box they haven’t ticked! Five star!!!

Had a really lovely stay here over the past week. Excellent facilities - new toilet blocks for this (2023) season which are great with large family shower rooms. Plenty of space to pitch on well-drained grass. Fab playpark that my daughter loved. The tearooms were really good - excellent quiche! - and reasonably priced. Ice cream: incredible! Nice little shop with fire pits to hire at a very cheap price. A fantastic stay - many thanks

We booked this campsite because we fell in love with their ice cream on a previous trip to Whitby, and WOW am I glad I booked with them! All of the staff on the site are so kind and friendly, facilities and camp shop are fantastic, and of course the ice cream is out of this world good! My husband and I tried so hard to sample every flavour on our 5 day trip but we couldn't complete them all (we got up to 16 though!) - looks like we'll have to come back!

What a great campsite! We stayed for a week at the end of July and pitched in the bottom field - next to the wildflower meadow. It is the furthest from the toilets but it was also the quietest field which was great. The ability to pitch wherever is great - we were just one tent but there were a few other larger groups with multiple tents around the site. Despite the large groups, we never experienced an excess of 'volume', be it music, kids or chatter.The toilets and showers are basic but clean, the staff are super friendly, and the food in the cafe was tasty.We will definitely consider this for future trips to Whitby, especially if looking for a site which takes large group bookings.Thank you for a great (if wet!) week!

Out of all the campsites I’ve stayed at this one is my favourite! They don’t overbook or pack everyone in like sardines, there’s loads of room and fields for the kids to run around. The park is brilliant plenty for kids to do.The new toilet and shower block is great. It’s much more private not like little cubicles and there’s large family shower rooms and bathroom for when parents need to help their younger children.100% recommend to anyone!

Always visited beacon farm campsite and never been dissatisfied. This is however our first visit since the pandemic and we were not disappointed you could see how much work had been put into the site and the nature walk was a lovely new feature. The new toilet/shower block was immaculate with no waiting for them. Will definitely be back soon for another visit

This place is an absolute gem. The location is perfect, the staff always attentive, the plots big enough. The wooden walk is really nice too. The kids loved every minute as the little on sight park keeps them nice and busy too. The toilets and showers are constantly cleaned.As for the ice cream? Well that just tops of the perfect place.Be sure to check out the pub next door too as the food was spot on.We will definitely be back again soon!
