Q Studio

I have been using Q Studios in Blackwood for several years now, even though I do not live in the town. It is a great hair salon with brilliant technicians who treat you well, and who are very prefessional and friendly.Yesterday, at my regular appointment, Assistant Aaliyah coloured my hair. I was very pleased with how she did this, and once again, found her to be helpful, friendly and professional. Refreshments are always offered here, and my cups of tea today were most welcome. The lovelyChloe is my regular stylist. She is very skilful and brilliant at what she does, helping me by suggesting things she thinks will look good with my hair. I was delighted, as I always am, with the way Chloe cut, styled, blow dried and finally curled my hair in the exact way I like it. Friends of mine living outside the area always want to know who does my hair. When I tell, them, they sometimes say it is too far for them to go. I always reply: You have to be prepared to travel if you want quality! This is exactly what Chloe, Aaliyah and all the team at Q Studios Blackwood provides, every single time . I highly recommend this business.

Sooooo pleased!!! Just returned from a restyle ( wash, cut, blow dry). I’ve been a loyal customer for 25+years.Was growing out years of dyed hair to my natural white hair, so really needed an updated style.As always, Rachel delivered!! Really pleased with results. Had a lob (long bob) and I’m thrilled!!Rachel is always on hand to give honest, constructive and non biased advice. I continually feel I’m in trusted hands. I moved to wales just over a year ago and had the same hairdresser for 20 years. I called in at the salon and found the staff very welcoming and friendly. Chloe cuts my hair every 5 weeks and does a perfect job. She is an asset to the salon.

I’ve been a customer of Q for over 20 years and wouldn’t go anywhere else.Chloe did an amazing job covering my roots today which included a nice little head massage, while my hair stylist Caitlin did exactly as I asked in regard to the blow dry, cut and styling.All of the staff are warm and welcoming and the salon is modern and clean.

Rachel is one of the best! The salon itself is modern, clean, light and airy, even the washbasin chairs are comfortable! A relaxing head massage is received every time.
