I do like Screwfix. All of the stores that I frequent have good parking, good COVID precautions and great service as well as very competetive prices and a tremendous range of products. Returns or exchanges are never a problem and a copy of your invoices are sent to your email box so you don't have to worry about losing your invoice if you should ever need to exchange any purchase. Click and Collect will make your purchasing experience even faster, of course.

the manager today was helpful by digging out of delivery that had only just arrived. thank you!sometimes its a bit confusing who is next, the queuing system could be improved

Top notch staff who know their business and are very helpful and knowledgeable even when stuck there on a sunny Sunday.Best range of products too

May be a small outlet for DIY and tools, however, the prices are reasonable and if they haven’t got your equipment in stock they can normally have in store by the following day.I use it quite regularly and find the staff friendly and helpful.Can be busy at times but you don’t have to wait long really.Decent size car park outside as well.

Was told I had to order online,this is something I have never done and I had to register first.after a stressful half hour I finally ordered the batteries I wanted. I had to pay beforehand and guess what they were the wrong item. They told me because it was a cashless transaction they couldn’t take them back until covid was over.this confused me because how can they take money of your card and can’t put it back on. I decided to try another branch and guess what ,after waiting for a week,they also sent the wrong batteries. It took me a while but now I realize what the Screw in Screwfix meant.

Rip OffGot to say probably the worst customer experience ever at Screfixw South Shields,Looking to buy 5ltr of Ronseal ultra decking oil £49.99, didn’t have use of the car today so walked to the local branch to pick it upBarber Walker please invest some time in your people,Screwfix aka Kingfisher have the pricing software to ensure that they are charging fair and reasonable prices. But they choose to rip consumers off.In a market where products are available in many locations the difference comes down to price and in 1.2 seconds over 25 locations have come up cheaper many of them greater than £10 inc delivery.The second being the service which for me is driven by the senior mgmt team, to get the response “it’s head office” and an attitude that is “Computer says no” is not good enough. Maybe try looking at locally know competitors and try saying we could match this instead of the one presented by the customer, customer service is there to help but certainly not in this case, the lady in the pink high vis was only too keen to share your name when asked.Plus point is at least my pension should be growing exponentially

Happy to recommend. Pretty much always good service from staff and usually helpful too. Ordered online drove up collected at left.

Very helpful staff, friendly and helped me get when I wasn't quite sure. Would recommend.
