H&C have overseen several conveyancing transactions for me over the years; the reason why I keep going back to them is because I wouldn’t feel comfortable with using anyone else. This solicitor firm should be disbarred. During my attempt to purchase a shared ownership property, I encountered numerous issues with these solicitors. As a result, I had to terminate their services after 8 months and seek assistance from another solicitor, as my property was at risk of being lost. Communication with them was virtually nonexistent; they failed to respond to emails and displayed a complete lack of concern for customer care. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to Robert Humphrey's and even posted a negative review on their Facebook page, they demanded that I remove the post, claiming it was defamatory. However, my statements were factual, and it seemed they were simply using their legal status to intimidate me. I have never encountered such unprofessionalism and incompetence before. I strongly advise against utilising this company's services under any circumstances.Humphreys and Co solicitors - before you reply and state I wasn't a customer, I am posting under a pseudonym as the experience has already caused me significant stress.

Natasha Hearn is immensely helpful and assisted even after her engagement contractually ended (liaising with another solicitor dealing with another matter and providing them information promptly). I can nothing but recommend Natasha and am very grateful for her tremendous services.

We had lots of problems. They never once returned our calls and we tried to avoid calling because we know they ask to do everything by email. However, things got so bad we felt there was no other choice, it proved futile anyway because they never took our call and never returned our calls.We almost lost our house sale because they handled the case so badly. We escalated to our appointed solicitors boss (Mr Humphrey, the owner) but he just treated us with contempt, or so we felt.We would never use them again and recommend the same to anybody else.

I have used Humphreys to buy and subsequently sell my last two homes. The first was a shared ownership purchase in 2016, we have just completed the sale of house in 2023. Every time I've been extremely pleased with their service. The purchase of the house was a very tough transaction as there was an absent landlord, throughout H&C handled it brilliantly.
