A decent place to go. We arrived early, so found a table and had a drink to pass the time. Having to wait 10 to 15 minutes for a cup of tea to be delivered to the table was a little steep. I think if I hadn't gone up and asked where it was, it might have been a lot longer.2 of us had the Carvery which they really enjoyed and I ordered Lamb shank of the menu. It was your typical sous vide (reheat in a bag) food but that's okay, it's always consistent, like most places.

I'm shocked and stunned to think that folk truly believe the food is delicious.A party of us was there Tuesday just gone we all booked the Xmas meal and it was the most shocking disgusting meal I've ever had the displeasure to be placed in front of us and expected to eat a Yorkshire pudding not only was it cold but had been microwaved so much I couldn't cut it with the knife. the sprouts liked like they been cooked a week before looking old . carrots were not peeled but arrived dried up with dirt still on them and blackened. parsnips so chewy and blackened burnt like they'd been cooked a week ago. pigs in blankets so hard I Had a job to bite it.The turkey looked like it had been cooked days ago it was so dry. The stuffing ball was size of golf ball. The entire meals were cold inedible and an absolute disgrace. our first time there never to return we had beenrefunded . If you want class and quality food served up don't eat here. I left this review on all 3 The racehorse websites but all was deleted. Our biggest regret as a group booking was not just booking a Xmas meal there was overlooking taking photos of the disgusting meals.My Advice to all considering booking a Xmas meal is if you want outstanding quality food with outstanding service Do Not Go there. Truly felt sorry for the girl serving us she looked totally embarrassedI gave 1 star for service only because the manager/ess or cook never once came out to talk to us15 m Like ReplyWrite a comment...

Called in for lunch, it was fairly quiet on the Monday, service was good as was the food. My wife had steak n ale pie and I had the Greek lamb kebab with dressed Feta salad which was really nice. We would have no hesitation in eating here again.

Wonderful! 5* all round. Great music and atmosphere. All staff absolutely brilliant. Food was delicious. Loved the succulents. Family friendly. Reasonably priced. Awesome in all ways. Highly recommended.

Very strange place , it is a mix between a weatherspoon and a gastro pub.The food was actually really good for such a low price . £15 for 2 meals ! What a bargain.The katsu chicken strips were very nice ( maybe could do with a little more sauce )The ham , egg, and chips is quite small , so i wouldn't be advised to order that one.One of my colleagues had the swordfish, and it was beautifully presented.The oreo cheesecake was really good.Perfect for work lunch.I will be back.

We've had a great time out tonight after a long and stressful day. Generous portions for the price and service was exceptional.We ordered the mix grill which was spot on, the feather blade of beef was delicious, and then the trio of desserts from the specials menu was also great.We'll definitely be recommending to others and hope it won't be too long before we're back again.

Sunday afternoon carvery for 13.95 barging. I hos ever went down the line of ghe mixed grill which was very nice. Could just do with getting some nicer sausages and then they had nailed it. Steak was gorgeous and the rest of the meat was lovely. Heading for the mid week carvery on Wednesday barging at 9.95
