Fighting Fit Fencing

Just had a four hour fencing course bought off groupon the instructor was great so no complaints there and for the groupon offer of £25 was okay value for money but at full price £95 is not worth it.negatives - the outfits do not look nowhere near as good on tv, they smell really bad, the equipment looks battered and damaged, the place is awful and needs a renovation.A friend could not turn up for the lesson as he had to take his mother to the hospital but the company refused to give a refund. the phone customer service was terrible the man on the other end was completely unsympathetic and dismissive. my friend was considering joining classes afterwards for a monthly fee but this swayed his decision to NO.Fencing as a whole was a good workout i was sweating buckets! and it is a worthwhile experience to try once but i do not recommend fighting fit just google some other companies and you will find a better company.

Got a 4 week beginners course off group-on and loved every second of it. The instructor was brilliant and friendly, well worth doing an introduction course.

Really lovely bespoke, kitted out club with professional pistes, scoring equipment and equipment to borrow on hand. The club also pays attention to cleanliness and disinfects equipment after each use. There’s always helpful feedback from coaches, 1:1 sessions available, equipment for purchase and flexible membership options. Really happy to find this club and fence there regularly.

Good if your face fits my son went there and one of the people who runs it didnt know his name after 3 months took the money though gave him no encouragment so he lost interest.All i found at this club was a level of snobbery that i thought was long gone. i would not let my child go through such hummiliation again.

Great experience. Did the 3 hour introductory course and it was great fun! The instructor was friendly and the equipment was good. A lovely family-run enterprise that is run with energy and passion.I live too far to join but I would definitely recommend it if you live close enough to attend regularly.

Did an adult taster session and was so much funReally friendly staff and instructors from the minute we arrived. Small group so had great instruction and they felt genuinely interested.Brand new venue, bright, light, airy, fresh decor, good covid hygiene.Booked another course as definitely want to learn more.

Fighting fit fencing is great as the venue is large and the staff are all so lovely! The equipment is all fantastic and the lessons have helped me advance really quickly.

Very nice club with great communication and willingness to help with what I needed. Definitely try this place out.

Lovely club - one of my kids has been on their summer camp and had a great camp. Highly recommended. Feel lucky to have this near us.

My two children aged 9 and 12 thoroughly enjoyed a free taster day session. They would both love to go back regularly but unfortunately I live over an hour away so that is not possible right now but if you see able to get there we would definitely recommend this club. It was a very professional set up.
