Walk my dog here pretty much every day. It’s a good space apart from all the dog mess that’s left by lazy owners so you have to watch your step! A few holes dug by the wildlife can make you roll your ankle as well… careful steps :-)

Nice spot for a dog walk. The Council have left some parts unmown which has created a little character in the form of patches of longer grass and wild flowers. No doubt a habitat for pollenators. Shame some people haven't cleaned up after their dogs and ithers think that leaving rubbish and broken glass behind is a good idea.

For a place with nothing but a hill, it's great. The trees at the top provide adequate shade on a sunny day. The sand in the middle provides a good area for children to play. The sights from this spot are very hard to beat because you can see everything from the York Minster to the distant power station.Things to watch out for though is glass and litter, a lot of younger people seem to drink there and smash bottles

Had a stroll with my daughter and her boyfriend walking their dogs. It brought back happy memories of my childhood because I used to play here from about the age of 7 to 15. The sandpit area is little more overgrown now but the views from the top of the hill are still very nice.

Open park area, no kids play area. But a good place to stretch your legs or wind away a few hours sitting in the sun.The burnt bench has been removed after it was melted in a fire. ☹️

Bachelor hill (or bachy as we call it) it is a great big mass of field to take your pooches on. And if you become a regular then you will meet other people and other doggies. It is not flat it has a couple of hills so if you can't walk very well then you should stay at the bottom. It's a lovely walk very in good weather,your doggy will love it.

Superb Area For Walking Ma dog Clyde Hamilton Other Than the ridiculous youngsters of 16 Batchy Hill Sam and Ruby constantly going at it near the tree areas.

As the highest place around York it is a usefulplace to get some uphill running practise. Does not get five stars as there is no seat at the top to relax on after exercise.
