Avon Valley Local Nature Reserve
I drove past yesterday to find out there is some sort of river works ongoing perhaps to improve flood control. These pictures were from years back to remind all of how beautiful and pristine the reserve was. I enjoyed quite a many walks in solitude at the reserve in 2019 and 2020.Seriously hoping the council gets this right and that the ecobalance and beauty of the reserve is restored back soonest.

Lovely walk along the river ,Watching the kingfishers and the fish jumping out the water , kids playing on a very hot day ,Plenty of benches if you can only walk short distances cuckoo's beautiful

Lovely little walk along the river and an added bonus of a lush field where the dogs could run around and dry off after an impromptu dip in the river.

Avon Valley Local Nature Reserve
This place is peaceful and quiet. There's a lot of space to wander around. In winter everything is a little dead but once the spring arrives the small clumps of wooded areas offer a shady covering. At a steady stroll you could easily walk around this area in 30 minutes, but take your time, there are benches at various points that over look the water meadows.

Quiet oasis on the edge of the city. Lots of dog walkers although we didn't see any pooh left, perhaps because of the numerous, but slightly smelly dog bins. A few benches, which unfortunately had a bit of litter around them. Pleasant walk, but some more info on the environment and wildlife there would have been nice.
