The Tutor Mark Mann was wonderful teaching us as complete novices about all the techniques involved in working with pottery. It was such fun especially working on the wheel and a brilliant time was had by all with a class bonding together and making great friends. Recommend & hooked!

Attended the recent beginners course and despite being terrified at the outset I enjoyed every session. I have a new found respect for pottery - I had no idea it was so challenging! Mark & Sasha were inspirational tutors. It was an enriching experience, great fun and I met some lovely folk.

The beginner’s course…. Such an incredible course to start exploring a new hobby. Brilliant teaching. Spacious studio. Great equipment. Totally free to create what you like but guidance and suggestions given if stuck for ideas. Would thoroughly recommend this course to anyone!

I attended the Beginners Pottery course and it was brilliant. Lots of guidance but with the freedom to express our creativity in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. It's more expensive than some other courses I've seen, but the standards are very high so I think it's worth it. I'm looking forward to signing up for another course in the near future.

This course is a great follow up if you’ve done the Pottery for Beginners course or if you’ve done pottery before. I learnt new techniques such as turning a pot to add a ring on the base (and why you might want to do that) and had a go at creating a pot with a lid. I also spent more time on the wheel which I love. I found these activities challenging but both Nicky and Mark are patient and great at explaining how to do things and improve.

My first experience with pottery and I loved it. Everyone was immediately made to feel very comfortable in the class and the tutor was friendly and supportive and we had some laughs. Everyone in my class was encouraged to have a go at different techniques and pottery skills and people were very encouraging towards each other. I really enjoyed it and I'm looking at setting up my own pottery studio at home and booking another course later in the year. Excellent experience.Pics, some of my completed and work in progress creations!

I absolutely couldn't wait for every class. They were so much fun and the teachers were very relaxed and helpful. Always something new to challenge us and I felt I could ask anything I needed to know. Always a helpful response with a smile. I would love to join a class that would include knowledge about firing the kiln.Looking forward to seeing my work this week after it's been glazed. The work in the photo is before firing.

I have just completed the beginners course at the studio and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I have made several items, sculptures and using the wheel and although I am not a natural, Mark and Sasha were great and really encouraging. I met some lovely ladies and just had a great time, so much so I have booked another course for next year.
