Highly recommend this place. It's a great day out. Something for everyone. My 3 year old nephew loves diggers so this was a dream day for him. My 11 year old son loved experiencing the rides, driving a car and having a go at the different variety of diggers too. Staff was wonderful and friendly. Staff adapted to needs also. One ride went slower so the experience could be enjoyed.

We had a great day. Who would have thought you could make a theme park put of diggers? Well you can! Great imagination to come up with skittles, treasure hunting and hook a duck all done with diggers! The highlight for me was being allowed to drive a JCB!!I also found it surprisingly therapeutic dig a pile of earth out of a hole and then putting it back in!Great staff who were all very helpful. We were a party of three generations and we all loved it. We would recommend it.

Absolutely fantastic day at diggerland. We went on a weekday during the summer holidays. This was our second visit our first being 4 years ago.It wasn't overly busy which meant there were either no queues or it was kept to a minimum. It also was a really pleasant day.All the rides were great. Some rides require you to be over 1.4m to do.Most require you to be over 0.9 to ride with an adult or 1.2 to ride alone. This is the ultimate place to go for any young children who love diggers, vehicles or farming. Even the adults can take part and have great fun.Favourite rides for mine were the spinnying digger ride in the video and the driving experience. You get to drive diggers, operate diggers and travel around and up 50m to see over the park and beyond. One of the rides was shut for the day whilst they awaited parts. Two rides broke down whilst we were there but we're very quickly fixed and up and running a hour or so later.Would recommend to anyone else thinking of going. They offer carer tickets and any children under a certain height are free.

Big car park is available right outside the front of the place.Fairly expensive entry fee but once in everything is included except a few smaller attractions which can easily be bypassed (I bypassed them).Been twice here now. First time was on a very hot summers day and although it was great, there was absolutely no place to get out the sun. Queuing up for all the rides in the baking sun and eating our picnic outside wasn’t a pleasure.Second visit was in October, cold and very very wet. Less queuing up in October and I didn’t mind the mud (rain always kind of spoils outdoor days out wherever they are), If you go properly dressed for the weather it’s great. There are height restrictions on the rides. If your child is under the height limit then in many cases the child can still go on but you need to go on too. There are some which it’s not possible for a smaller child to go on.These construction site machines are the real deal. They have the same controls as in the machines on sites. It’s a great opportunity for a child to be allowed to have a go in something so big and powerful. In this day and age where we live in the nanny state it’s a refreshing change to be able to take a child to Diggerland.I noticed how attentive, pleasant and polite most of the staff there were. If they were having a bad day they hadn’t brought it to work with them. There’s a cafe, which has a good choice of food. For a baked potato with cheese and coleslaw, and a side salad, a plate of cheesy chips, a bottle of Coke, and a cup of coffee it was just over £18. There is a child’s menu too but we didn’t buy from that.I am planning another visit here soon with different grandchildren and I can highly recommend Diggerland for a fun day out.

Really great place for all the family at any age. Staff are all really friendly. Facilities are really good. Not 5* because, as many people say, it feels a bit expensive and having to pay for dodgems and ride on quads and diggers seems unnecessary.

Visited the Tuesday after August bank holiday and it was perfect in terms of not being too busy. Never waited long for each ride and my 5 year old grandson (and 33 year old son) had a great time on all of the diggers. He was even able to drive the tractor! Everyone was lovely. This was noticeable and we all commented on how nice literally everyone was. We spent 4 hours there which was time for all rides, lunch and an ice cream break. Worth a visit. Thank you Diggerland Yorkshire staff!

Absolutely brilliant, the weather was terrible at times but we were well prepared with wellies and waterproofs and it actually added to the experience. There was no queueing and our children aged 3 & 4 had the best day! Highly recommended... Also the staff were very friendly and helpful.

What a fantastic idea and quite literally a whole lot of fun for all the family kids above 80cm can ride on and operate real life size diggers with an adult on most of the rides. There are some restrictions regarding minimum and maximum height but that does not detract from the overall day of fun as there is certainly something for everyone. The only area that I would say could be improved is the cafe unfortunately there was quite an odour of old cooking oil and my wife had to wait 15mins for some chips because of a staff mistake but apart from that everythingwas ok prices are quite steep but its a captive market. I recommend taking a picnic as the picnic area is extremely clean as are the tables. The staff on all of the rides are very polite and safety is of paramount importance to them and it shows without it becoming a nuisance. The gift shop is well stocked and prices are reasonable, if you are looking for a great day out that doesn't cost the earth then I would 100% recommend Diggerland.

My 6 year-old son really enjoyed the day at Diggerland. The staff are really friendly and we enjoyed ourselves too. There were some rides with longer queues than others but this might be because we visited Diggerland on a bank holiday. The longer queues took around 20 minutes.

Absolutely fantastic day out. Took a 5yo girl and a 9yo boy and they both had a brilliant time as did I. The staff were all excellent, friendly and helpful and a credit to diggerland. There's a really good variety of things to go on with the potential perhaps for a few more things to really complete the park. Overall a really good day out and value for money.
