Easily the best pub in town. Friendly barman, nice choice of ale, warm clean and comfortable, full of ordinary folk enjoying their drinks. Wish we’d gone to this one first!

Small but friendly pub with a good selection of local beers. Inside and outside tables. Dogs welcomed. Friendly conversation and cozy surroundings. Easy to find just off the High Street.

Fab wee find. No frills no food, no fuss just a great place for a drink or two. Small and popular, get there early. Love the bus/train seats.

What a fantastic little find. True definition of micropub. A delightful selection of excellent ales. Friendly, welcoming atmosphere.....only thing I don't understand is why this doesn't have a 5 star rating! 5 out of 5 from me and if we ever venture up this way again, we're certain to call in.Good luck for the future!

This venue is classified as a micro pub and only sold alcohol and soft drinks. If this was what you were expecting then the staff made those who visited it made you most welcome.It was also a dog friendly venue.
