The amasing Donna was such a blessing. Made my wedding dress fit like a glove, i was worried it may be difficult as I am only 5ft. Donna also did my 3 bridesmaids dresses and mother of the bride, all the girls where so I'm pressed. We had fun at every fitting, laughed away and most important all felt in safe hands. On the way to an appintment I snagged the dress i was wearing that day and Donna wouldn't let me leave without fixing that to lol. Then there was the wedding morning Donna come out to our location, steamed all our dresses, reminded us all how to walk, hold our flowers and even go to the bathroom in a larger dress lol. She made the morning stress free and even made sure all doors and windows were locked up tight. If you need a magical seamstress get booking Donna as soon as you have your date (you don't even need your dress first.) she books up fast.

Donna is the best of the best! Down to earth, knowledgeable, very reassuring and personally, I don't think she charges enough! She sorted my dress, 2 bridesmaids dresses and last minute, my mum's outfit...I can't thank her enough! Book Donna and you won't regret it! Thanks again Donna!

Genuinely the best money spent on my whole wedding day! I didn’t lift a finger the whole day because of Donna! My dress looked unreal and my photo previews so far looked amazing- she had everyone set up and reminded the best way to pose the whole time! Donna had all my photos getting ready organised as well as helping with bags to go to the venue so I could just enjoy the morning. She helped everyone in the morning, aided me getting to the venue and our first look. She helped anyone on the day who needed (especially button holes). She helped when my feet gave up on me and got my second shoes without me even having to ask! And was a literally dream walking around Belfast clearing the streets for the most stunning photos! Every person who interacted with her spoke so highly and so many wished they had of know of her services previously! Seriously if you can book book!! Cannot thank you enough Donna!! If only we could do it again ❤️

As mother of the bride there are very few decisions that I was needed for. However, I wanted support for my daughter getting dressed and ready, that didn't involve me getting stressed, so I booked Donna from Sew Handy for her Wedding Day Dressing Service. It was without doubt my best decision for the wedding. Donna was a Godsend. When the maid of honour twisted her ankle, leaving her dress way too long for the required lower heels, Donna calmly organised a fitting and completed the alteration. She stored all the wedding clothes, ensured they all looked correct on each of us, tweaking where necessary, and transported them on the morning of the wedding to our venue. Everything was steamed ready to wear, the guys were managed too, with buttonhole checks, even shoes, ties and pocket squares got attention, plus keys, change and mobiles were confiscated and it wasn't by me, for a change!Donna's easy manner and liaison with the photographer and videographer meant that we literally only had to chill and let everything happen to us including just stepping into our clothes and following her helpful instructions. Everyone should have a Donna for the preparation and execution of a wedding morning. Thank you Donna, we wouldn't have had such a wonderful day without you.

I came to Donna in tears after another seamstress destroyed my dream dress and she was able to reassure me she could make it wearable again. She is so experienced in her field and has a down to earth, straightforward manner. She managed my expectations, explaining what could be done and what couldn't. The end result was such a transformation. I was in love with my dress again. I couldn't recommend Donna highly enough. Donna is the absolute best at what she does. It’s not just about the incredible skills she has with a needle and thread, it’s all of the support and knowledge she provides on the run up that set her apart, how to sit in your dress, how to avoid sitting on your veil etc. She’s a delight to work with, great craic and such a reassuring presence. I was so glad I chose to avail of her wedding day dressing service which made everything so easy. I didn’t have to transport the dresses or worry about them being creased, I knew I was securely in my dress before I left the house and that the guys were all dressed and the little details like cufflinks checked over by her. I chose Donna because of all the recommendations and her shining personality on her social media and I hope this review helps another bride find their way to her!

I came to Donna for my wedding in October 2019, when I say this woman is an absolute gem is an understatement! Great craic and the knowledge she has is second to none! She alterated my dress and my 2 bridesmaids, one bridesmaid is 5' 4 and the other is 5' 10" and she used the excess from my taller sisters dress to fill in the bust which we felt was a bit exposed. Just a great lady!!!! ❤️"
