As someone who has never put an apartment on the market and was very apprehensive about doing so, I have nothing but praise for Chewton Rose in every regard. The representative, Graham Lang, explained everything in clear and kind detail, never once making me feel that I was being hurried (which I suspect to be the case with larger companies).The staff are excellent (sensible and thoughtful) and always kept me informed, at every stage. I recommend Chewton Rose warmly and without the slightest reservation.

We had a very pleasant expérience in successfully buying our house with Chewton Rose agents especially Graham and Deborah. The team was patient and friendly during the viewings. We had good advice regards the expectation of the seller and our offer was accepted. The exchange of contract was all complete in 10 weeks. Extremely professional team , kept good communication during the transaction and have recommended their service to friends.We are grateful to Chewton Rose for our lovely house.

Put offer in on building plot last year through Graham Lang at the Nottingham branch, Offer was accepted by the vendor and confirmed by Graham via phone call.We emailed proof of identity, funds and our solicitor's details the next day.What a surprise to get a phone call a week later from Graham to inform us someone had put in a higher offer and he wondered if we would like to increase our offer, Had he forgot our initial offer was accepted by the vendor that he had negotiated. We declined to increase our offer and the plot was sold subject to contract to another party.What another surprise to get a call from Graham a couple of weeks later to inform us that the other party had pulled out of the purchase. He was delighted to see if we would like to proceed with the purchase.We did purchase the plot but relayed his past appalling negotiation's that he concluded.My conclusion is never to use Chewton Rose ever again. Remember the old saying buyer and seller beware.They do give estate agents a bad name, in this case justified.

After 3 years and 4 failed agents, we finally sold our unique property in Gedling via our 5th agent, Chewton Rose.They were very professional from the outsetThey were communicative (sounds basic, but incredible how lapse most estate agents are in this vital area !)They were always contactableTheir marketing materials were excellent.They didn't encourage unnecessary marketing expenditure. They knew the focus areas, the selling points, and majored on those.They sold our house ! (yes, sounds basic but most agents, take your money and do nothing to actually 'sell' your house - other than suggest price reductions continually when it isn't selling)Chewton Rose valued our house correctly. They didn't falsely set our expectations, regarding price, number of viewings, timescales etc...They were honest and assured in their advice.Overall I find it difficult to fault them.Our sincere thanks to Graham and Pamela for their extensive help, their humour, and their professionalism and realism - ultimately they ensured we finally achieved our goal.When we move again (hopefully not in the near future !) we will be looking nowhere else, other than Chewton Rose.

We have just sold our last plot of 3 through the Nottingham Chewton Rose and the staff there have been brilliant. As it was an unusual site with a few problems, we had a large number of viewings and the last plot took over a year to go through. Graham Lang patiently stuck with us and helped out chasing solicitors to move things along.
