St. George's Church

Felt very welcomed by all. Wonderful fellowship time with coffee and tea.

A wonderful and beautiful church, my was experience was very good, very welcoming.

We visited St George's for a musical recital that our daughter was taking part in from Birmingham University School of Music.Sadly (now), thanks to those wonderful people Town Planners, positioned in the middle of a large traffic island, that in no way detracts from the elegance and presence of the building and the interior does not disappoint.This Grade II-listed structure, of varying dates of construction/addition, starting in the mid/early 1800's.Ornate decorative style, with wonderful stonework, interior fittings and some fabulous stained glass.Clearly much loved locally judging by the tidiness both internally and external around the 'private' carpark....and great acoustics for music as well.

This has been a wonderful church community for me and my family over 30 years and I am proud to serve as churchwarden.

Every year the Eduard's Trust association has a remembrance service for loved ones who are no longer with us. There is always a peaceful atmosphere in this church.

Its is really an amazing orthodox church it's great to feel ur inner thoughts and to worship God, I have never been happier to be there for epiphany celebration day and they also do prayers some Saturday's and sundays, every one is welcome.

Beatufully located . Besides that not mocht impressive

Very friendly people with a good vibe. Beautiful building and stained glass. Well worth a visit.

Went to see it's a wonderful life at Christmas they was showing the film you couldn't hear it properly it was very poorly organised.but a beautiful church
