The Shurlock Inn
A great place to eat, drink and have sumptuous meals, especially steaks. The staffs are extremely pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. The service is fast and meal served at the right temperature.There’s outdoor seating and great ambience in the summer months. The pub is dog friendly and there’s ample parking space at this rural location.

Awesome chicken roast, the rest at the table raved about the steak, great sourdough bread starter, and the sides we enjoyed were the Mac & cheese & creamed spinach. Wasn't a huge fan of the hash side.The sticky toffee pudding was the big pudding winner; I was disappointed in the plum crumble (too liquidy and not crumbled enough).Reservations recommended!

Highly recommended place - but disappointedIn the 2020’s you’d expected better vegetarian fayre. The starter was a few pieces of halloumi with a large splat of lumpy cream (which was also used for the other starter) on a standard toast. Main was an equally disappointing burger - ketchup requested and delivered in a finger size “bowl”.Clearly the place has no extractors as the place stank of meat and fish. Nice setting but sadly won’t be coming backService was amateur especially as place was totally empty though the manager tried his best. An empty restaurant on a Sat afternoon the week before Xmas might be a telling signProbably one of the worst vegetarian dining experiences of late especially for the price

4 of us for a Sunday roast, top notch, had 2 of the roasts for 2 between us after sharing the sourdough starter. All delicious and generous portions. Finished off with a sticky toffee pudding, best Sunday Roast around!

We visited the pub and the restaurant frequently and we highly recommend visiting and eating the tasty food provided by this splendid place. Really kind and professional staff, immaculately clean and posh interior. Perfect place for party and celebrations

My family and I visited The Shurlock Inn for the first time as it was suggested to me by a colleague at work. We were greeted by the team and very quickly placed our orders. I would say we must have waited max 10-15 mins for the food to arrive at our table! We chose to go for Sunday roasts which were beautifully presented, everything tasted so fresh.We also went for desserts. Again, everything was presented nicely and tasted excellent.Our only thing which could be improved potentially is the thickness of the gravy/custard as these both seemed on the watery side. I did not let this reflect the rating as everybody has their own preference for gravy!We definitely will return.Thank you again.Courtney & Family.
