Marsh House Holiday Park (Marsh House Farm)

This is a beautiful family friendly site with stunning views. The site and facilities are kept immaculate by the wardens who go above and beyond to make everyone feel at home and are always available to answer queries. Would recommend to anyone.

3 days before easter we called Bay view site to ask if they had any pitches over the easter weekend, highly unlikely but we tried anyway. They said sorry but we have new site just up the road and offered to check them for us but said sorry no they are full aswell. 5 minutes later they called us back and said actually they had got some vacant pitches, would we like to book. YES PLEASE. 1st impressions on their customer service was excellent, even going that extra step to call us back. We turned up to a newly redeveloped and only been open 5/6 weeks. On our visit about half the pitches have already been taken for seasonal pitches. The greeting from the warden was friendly and helpfull even suggesting which way to approach the pitch for easier access. The toilet/shower/laundrette block is brand new and kept spotless. To gain access to the site there are 2 security barriers that need key code and cctv making you feel very comfortable about leaving your van when on trips out. Between every generous sized pitch there is plenty of room and freshly planted hedges with various varieties of hedging plants but as newly planted were very small but once established should give a good amount of privacy on each pitch. We also noticed that it is a very quiet site with respectfull visitors. We had a very enjoyable stay and spoilt with some lovely weather. The site has some lovely views of the surrounding scenery. We would definatley return to this site in the future and would recommend it.

Great great great place. Fantastic family park. I just can't praise this place enough. I now spend every weekend. And just love it. Wardens are more like my family and steve is like my dad. Made some fantastic friends truly lovely people.

First visit to Marsh House and will definitely be back. Greeted by the park wardens and guided to our pitch (which was a great size). All the information you needed was given on arrival inc WiFi code. We visited the sister site Bay View for a quick drink, a bit busy for our liking so Marsh House was perfect.Toilet and shower facilities are immaculate and rightly have a platinum award.Only down side is the single track road down to the site and the cars parked on the narrower section of the road before it goes single track.Thanks for a great stay!

Absolutely stunning site. We were welcomed even though we had not pre booked. Facilities were immaculate. Great staff and fabulous site. Highly recommend. We will definitely return if we are in the area again. Thank you all. X

We stayed in Keer Cottage, Quality, it was like being home from home with the facilities the cottage provided. A much quieter site than others in the Holroyd group with limited on site facilities compared to their larger sites, but with access many local attractions. Great site for those wanting a quieter site.The site managers, Jackie & Steve? Were lovely

Hadn't stayed here before so wasn't sure what to expect but we were very pleasantly surprised. Lovely clean site with access to the wonderful coastal path. You can walk from here into Carnforth or, in the other direction, to another Holgates camp site which has a dog friendly pub on site. The facilities at Marsh House were spotlessly clean and the other big bonus, the sunsets are incredible.

What once had rural charm by the bucket iload is now a sharp corporate affair which lacks the magic and back to nature feeling the place used to have. In my opinion the upgrade has spoilt the magic the place used to have.
