I heard there are 2 I went to the one on a small county road that has a layby for cars. From there it's on foot for a little under a mile up up up hill

Neolithic burial site in the top of a hill. Fascinating place and well kept example. Good views from the site across the Cotswolds. It's a 15-20 minute up hill walk but easy terrain, just a bit of effort.

Parking is very limited. Nice walk up to the burial mound. Not a great deal to see, but the walk was enjoyable

Space for about eight or ten cars to park a short and easy stroll from Belas Knap through woodland and across meadows with great views of Winchcombe and Sudeley Castle.

A couple of small lay-bys (signposted as Belas Knap Parking) Access to the monument is across the road, through a wooded area and the around open fields (15-20 minutes each way)Very extensive long barrow with multiple entrances. Well worth a quick stop on a pleasant day

Very interesting historic site. It’s up hill most of the way there but is well worth the trek.

What a lovely hike! We actually started the circular walk from a different angle so actually ended it around here, but either way, it was a lot of fun for us group of friends. The neolithic grave site wasn't as grave-yardy as I expected, but the history is fantastic. You might feel a bit underwhelmed by the tiny grass hill under which the people are buried, but try to go on top And take it all in - the lovely weather (if you are lucky), the views, the nature, the history. Just go there, exercise, do the walk!
