Kittochside Country Cattery

Just collected my cat after a few days stay over Easter. She was very content and obviously had been well looked after. Staff were very nice and I would certainly use this cattery again. It was nice to be able to go inside where her pen was - it was so clean and tidy. Really pleased as last time she was in a cattery (not Kittochside) she had lost weight and didn’t seem a happy wee cat. Thank you Kittochside.

They don't have heating there, so If you leave your cat in winter...the poor thing would be frozen!They charge you £7 per day for an individual radiator in the pen (what is the half of the price for your cat to stay there one day)

Been using kittochside for a few years now. My cat is always really looked after when we are away. He's an outdoor cat but they have outdoor runs as well as inside so although it's not the same as running around anywhere, at least he's still outside. Heated beds as well, very spacious pens. Would recommend to anyone. Also, when I was searching for a cattery I was able to turn up without an appointment to see the facilities, so they were not preparing for a visit and everything was as it should be.

Never stayed there myself, but my two cats both have differing opinions. One loves the place, one hates the place. Both are well looked after and have been visiting regularly for the last ten years.

Outstanding Cattery.Cats well looked after, entire place clean and tidy. Cat came back happy, as did his owners! Would certainly use again and recommend wholeheartedly!

I had an absolutely dire experience checking in my two cats to this cattery. The (male) owner was incredibly rude to me when I had telephoned to ask for directions (I got lost) and, when challenged about his unhelpfulness he became aggressive and confrontational. I was literally shaking and crying by the end of our meeting. I wish I had been in the position to walk away and not leave my cats there, but it would have been impossible to arrange cat care at short notice. When I came back to pick up my two cats I was met by a (very nice!) woman who took me to the pen they had been staying in. There were no blankets due to COVID and it was freezing cold. They were huddled together, looking incredibly sad. I regret very much leaving my pets there and I don't think I will ever get over the unique 'customer service' experience I got!

My mum's 2 cats stayed here while my mum moved back to Scotland. The cats seemed happy with lots of space to themselves, each had a wee cosy bed and the whole seemed calm and quiet. Communication was good throughout and they clearly made sure the cats were as comfortable as possible. Would definitely recommend!

Very happy to have my cats looked after here. The owners of Kittochside have made the process very easy. My two were well looked after. When I went to get them I could see staff working hard. The place is very clean too. Will definitely be back.
