I booked a group shooting event for a company away day, and everyone had a fantastic day! Bill and Alan are extremely knowledgeable and accommodating instructors - even the most nervous of shooters felt reassured in their capable hands.Everyone was kept engaged throughout the shoot, cheering each other on so I would definitely recommend this as a team building event.The venue was beautiful and made for a very picturesque backdrop. Staff couldn't do enough for us - we were very well looked after.Bill was very helpful in the lead up to the day, letting me know what to expect and ensuring the day went smoothly. I would absolutely book through him again and would recommend this activity to everyone of all ages and abilities as Bill and Alan were amazing at adapting their teaching style depending on the ability of their student!

If you're wanting to learn to shoot, wether it be clays or to get ready for game season, or even just improve your shooting Bill is the guy you want.Bill is an incredible teacher, constructive and supportive and knows his sport well.He's really kind, really patient and an all round great guy, I wouldn't consider going anywhere else.He's taken me from never holding a shot gun in my life to hitting lots of clays, improving my technique and upping my knowledge and safety with every lesson.I honestly can't praise him or High Bird Shooting ltd enough and reccomend him to everyone I know.

Very professional - but so friendly ! Really made to feel welcome and at ease - Bill is an amazing instructor - so encouraging and not at all judgemental- I have also been a member of the ladies shooting club -Cheshire ladies shooting club for over a year - we have had some wonderful events and lessons - would definitely recommend to all wanting to start shooting or even improve their technique.

An amazing way to learn how to shoot in a relaxed and fun atmosphere with a fantastic instructor. Bill has a lovely way of making you feel at ease and safe with him, he's able to share his knowledge and expertise in a kind and encouraging way. Bill is a fantastic instructor. He’s patient and encouraging but also direct with his feedback to maximize learning during each lesson. I took two 1-hour lessons on consecutive days and saw dramatic improvement in my ratio and consistency. Can’t wait for my next lesson when I visit the area again!

Came to Willington hall for a clay shooting lesson with Bill Telford, that was bought as a birthday present for me. My first time shooting and it was an amazing experience and learnt so much, will definitely be returning , thanks again Bill :)

Can't recommend High Bird Shooting enough. My husband had a fantastic 'Shooting Party' for his 30th which was enjoyed by everyone. Bill made even the most nervous attendees feel relaxed and had complete novices hitting clays by the end of the session. Clear and easy to follow tuition in a fun environment!

I had a lesson at Willington hall with Bill Telford, he was friendly and explained everything in layman's terms so I understood. Then I had the most fun for an hour learning to shoot. I haven't shot before it was awesome. I will definitely be back soon
