Sushi Now (Swindon)

Unfortunately our last order with Sushi now after the poor service and communication.Order made as soon as the store opened on their site, ETA of 50mins to an hour. Told via email order was accepted and then shortly after via email put for delivery.After 2 and half hours and 10 attempts of calling into the store with no answer, went in to find no one was in Sushi Now. Order arrived while out, was poor quality and falling apart. No explanation, no real apologies and no compensation.Previous experiences have been good but they lost our business this time as it was a big order and for a treat for someone.

Went for collection as been craving sushi for a while. Bought the most expensive platter. Got it home to find that some of the fish had that “no longer fresh” smell and taste. Salmon was ok and robust but tuna was so thin and used so sparingly that it was falling apart.Never again

Ordered online for home delivery. Arrived over an hour later than time given. When I tried to call no one answered. When they finally answered (40 minutes past their suggested time) they said the driver had just left. Appears to me they deliberately do not answer phones until their drivers are ready to leave. Food was bland but provided plenty of meat. Unfortunately we will not be ordering again.

One of my the worst experience i ever had!!Around 8PM i ordered food from Sushi Now, got an expected time for delivery 20:15-20:35.I waited and waited, tried calling the restaurant but the phone no in the app was saying it’s incorrect, i fell asleep on the sofa waiting, received a message saying my order was completed around 23:00, but, no surprise there, no one ever came. I have video surveillance so i am 100% sure no order arrived at all….Absolutely disgusting!!!!!!!

Not even a proper place. Took me half an hour to find it and collect. Service is obsolete, after finding the store then the girl in the counter basically throw the order at me. Will never order from this place again. I am amaze how this place got their reviews. But you probably can guess it.

Rude, Rude, Rude staff. Ordered my food and clicked through the email which said 45-1 hour wait. Clicked again 20 minutes later and it had changed to 2 hours. Called up to see what was the correct ETA and told half my food was prepared and they were working on the last part of my order. I asked if it would be the 2 hours as if it was i would need to cancel and told i had got in before the rush. Just over an hour then passed no sign of food. So called up again and told the driver had left but could not give an eta. I was concern as i was told half my food had been completed and worried it was sat around for more than an hour. Asked to speak to Manager and she was, rude, childish and just trying to points score. She hung up on me after i was calm but trying to find out where my food was. I called back and was told i was being irate. I asked her what irate is as i was calm just raising my issue with her. Food arrived about 10 minutes later, and guess what. It was cold! So called up again and asked for a refund. Was told they wanted to collect food and it would be up to 10pm before they could collect. The manager could not see what they have done wrong and kept try to accuse me of lying basically. Telling me that they cant change the time on the email. I told her it was a live system. If you click through it tells you a time on the web page. I called back to find out when collecting food and the manager would not speak to me. Got another delightful member of staff who refused to give me her name. She told me she only worked two days a week so wasnt familiar with ordering system, when i tried running through my issue. Then told me she was also a manager at another store. I find it hard to believe the manager is familiar with their ordering system. Asked for owners details which they refused.If they said when i called it would be two hours i would have cancelled, not mislead me that my food was on its way. All in all rude staff, food sat around and cold. I cant believe they insisted on collecting the food and not just issuing my refund over the phone. Dreadful customer services and staff and manager not acknowledging their mistakes.I appreciate it must of been a busy night but dont mislead customers, and leave food sat around. Will never go back again after the attitude of staff.Stay away from this place.

I ordered £52 worth of sushi. The delivery was done on time however the order was short, had missing items. The missing items took extra 20 minutes to deliver. The sushi was ok, a lot a rice not much of fish or filling. The worst was the Thai fish cakes, were cold and hard like from day before. I doubt I will order again. Save your money and a disappointment.

I ordered at 7:25pm. My food arrived at 9:22pm.I had to call the restaurant twice to find out what the hell was going on. The service on the phone was unprofessional and no one took any accountability for the situation. The driver’s apology for the wait was pathetic, he clearly didn’t care. The food was a soggy disappointment.Ordering here has been a ridiculous waste of both my time and money. If I could give 0 stars I would. I should have read previous reviews before ordering, it seems they have a habit of delivering either extremely late or not at all.If you are thinking of ordering here, I would advise you not to risk the gamble of will-or-won’t the food actually turn up.

Ordered a delivery. The curry from the katsu curry was missing. We called about it and were on hold for 10 minutes. We hung up and tried calling again - after getting our post code and the reason for our call, we were put on hold immediately, with no reason given.My husband's had to drive to Sushi Now (aka Kaizen at the bottom of Victoria Road), and they've given him a new meal, but no explanation for why we were left on hold twice. And this is totally not the point of getting a delivery!We have ordered from Sushi Now in the past with no issue. This is disappointing.
