Absolutely atrocious driving. One of their lorry drivers entered my lane with no warning and with no indicators nearly causing me to crash. He smirked when I caught up and went past.UPDATE: I did receive a prompt reply from the manager Samuel, who assured me this issue would be dealt with. I am thankful for this response, review changed from 1 to 3.

I worked for R and P for 6 years, the first four years was awesome, many thanks to the previous owners, then they sold out to freight 24, seemed ok at first but then it all started happening, bills not being paid,fuel cards constantly bouncing and to top it off they started stealing employees pensions, even though they were/are deducting from your wages it went into their pockets,, the owners are scum, Ross,James, Graham and Clive are definitely not to be trusted!! Please avoid this company like the plague!!!!!

I only worked for them for a short while (through Accelerate Personell, Norwich) but I thought they were one of the better companies, sure. Their actual, employed drivers were very personable, interested in my basic interaction with the lorry-load, and keen on showing me clearly better ways of doing things (whilst I reacquainted myself with my general duties). They were never condescending, more like, as part of their work-flow - I was impressed and appreciated the professionalism.One day I ran out of Adblue and had to nurse the lorry to a garage. I used my own money to pay for it. I didn't get the money back, and the receipt disappeared from the desk where I'd been sure to leave it. I was pretty miffed. There's loads of space to keep a couple of litres of Adblue on a lorry. It's the driver's responsibility to make sure it has it (an interested yard man might take a few minutes to add some without trouble?). Still, I rate them as one of the best. One of the lorry's automatic transmission was as bit off, (dicey on roundabouts, junctions etc, if you didn't know it's foibles), but I never went out overloaded and never felt particularly overworked. Good, very capable haulage company, I reckon, and well-placed to service the home counties, London etc.

Would not advise their training, their trucks have parked on pavements and double yellow lines several times in our village
