We were delighted with Rob's work on seven of our sash windows, which we found, after we moved into our new home, had numerous problems.Quality sash window work is never going to be cheap but it is really worth doing properly. It's such a relief to be able to open and close our windows easily now in this warm weather and we are sure the excellent draught proofing will make a big difference in the winter months as well. The hardwood (sapele) sills look rock solid and as if they will last for decades.We will definitely be asking Rob back in the spring to renovate the remaining windows as we are confident he will do another excellent job.

All 17 original Edwardian windows of our new house had serious problems. Most would not open, many had missing cords, they all let in the draft, their sills and a couple of frames were rotten and some were cracked. Rob and his team did a fantastic job sorting them all out, replacing only two which were beyond repair and beautifully repairing the rest using top quality timber and excellent craftsmanship. Not only do they look great, we’re so happy that we’re able open them to let in fresh air and, of course, be draft free for the winter. Thanks Rob. You’re a lifesaver!Matt & Ira

Very professional service from the outset. The work (window repair) was finished to a high standard, and there is a noticeable reduction in noise and draughts. The site was left in an excellent, clean condition on completion of the work. I can recommend!

Scotford Sash have recently refurbished several original sash windows of our Georgian style house. Rob impressed us with his knowledge of all aspects of the work required, his dedication to preserving the originality of the period home and the high quality of materials he uses.He is engaging, professional and takes time to explain the details of the work being undertaken. As a company they were personable, friendly and professional.Advice was easily given but the client's remit was always the priority. I was kept informed about any issues and then issues rectified as per client's wishes. The quality of work was paramount in the company's work ethic and outcome. This was repair work on windows. I will be using again when needed...although be aware they are very busy!

Rob did a fantastic job replacing my old, single glazed wooden sash windows with new double glazed ones that look amazing. He is extremely professional and polite. The price was reasonable also. He comes highly recommended though his services are in high demand.

Rob has now refurbished all eight sash windows in our 1920s semi. He has done a fantastic job on all of them, the house is so much warmer now and no rattles! Rob is a great guy, very friendly and easy to get along with. He works super efficiently and is very tidy. This type of work isn't the cheapest, but great value and worth every penny for such a skilled craftsman and such great results. Thanks so much Rob!

Delighted with windows that Rob refurbished - they actually open and close easily now! No rattling and draught proof. Glass replaced with star panes in bathroom and hall which is a stunning feature - highly recommend (both Rob and the star glass!).
