The Spotted Dog
Would drive up from London for their Garlic and chilli prawns- absolutely delicious. And my grilled sea bream with garlic butter on the side was also superbly cooked to perfection. Everyone at our table for 7 was impressed with their meals. The service was friendly and unobtrusive- just right.

A fantastic local spot, very relaxing with attentive staff. The food is beautifully served, absolutely delicious, fab portions and worth every penny. I will definitely be going back. I am absolutely stoked to have this place on my doorstep!

As a seasoned food photographer with years of experience s, I've been fortunate enough to sample some of the finest dishes this gastronomic world has to offer. However, my recent visit to The Spotted Dog, a charming pub tucked away was nothing short of a culinary revelation.I was invited to undertake a food shoot at The Spotted Dog, and from the moment The cozy yet elegant ambiance immediately set the stage for what was to come.The true magic of any food shoot lies in the quality and standard of the dishes presented, and I must say that The Spotted Dog exceeded all expectations.But, as they say, the proof of the pudding is in the eating, and The Spotted Dog delivered on all fronts.In conclusion, my visit to The Spotted Dog was a delightful journey of taste and aesthetics.

Wonderful refurbishment. Completely changed the environment. Food choice good. Quality excellent. Service very very good. Priced at the higher end compared to comparable establishments. We will be returning

The Newly refurbished Pub is a really nice change. The pictures don’t do it justice. Staff are really friendly and can’t do enough for you. I would highly recommend to go if you already haven’t.

First visit to the refurbished Spotted Dog. We pass this place on our way to work and was sad to see it closed for such a long time. Hugely impressed by the decor and setup especially the open kitchen which helps create a good atmosphere. Visited for lunch and was fully booked but we squeezed in. Fish cake and veggie pie was delicious and good options. Will definitely return

They’ve done a great job with the spotted Dog. It was full when we got there the food was very nice and presented very well. The staff were very switched on, accommodating and friendly and charming. They really have gone above and beyond. Definitely recommend!

Probably the best Sunday lunch we have ever had. Amazing menu choice. Catered with real care for my wife who is vegan and liqueur coffees to die for. Highly recommend. ***Dog friendly***
