Well this may contradict some reviews but it was our experience. My wife, daughter and I went in Sunday night after watching Queen (very good) and booking a table for 8:30. So, we turned and was seated. The place is nice and cozy inside. After 10 minutes I asked for a menu to which a waiter muttered yes or something. We waited another 5 minutes and askdd again. Now there was 1 table of 4 and a table of 8 all eating. So asked again and got menus. The waiter took drinks orders about a further 5 mins later. The starters arrived and were nice in all fairness. However the pickles were insipid. One just chopped onion with some flecks of parsley, the mango chutney was jam - smooth and sugary and the garlic was off white and more like yoghurt. We all said not nice. One whole hour later and after asking 4 times, restaurant near empty now with just us 2 others and the 1 table of 4. Well the mains arrived and then a few minutes later the sides. Again being fair, the mains were very nice. Wife and daughters tasted exactly the same but were different from the menu. The vegetable curry was lacking taste and watery. We all didn't like it. At nearly 10pm we abandoned the last course paid (fifty quid) and left. Mains & starter good, rest bad and service very poor. We have had better food for same money that left enough for the next day. Can't say we will visit here again. Mediocre food, bad service.

Visited after reading a Hull Daily Mail article on how good it was on Saturday.Wow! Food was so tasty, service was excellent. We ate so much food, we couldn’t stop ourselves. Think I have found my new go to Indian restaurant. Will definitely be returning!

I walked for half an hour to find this place from my hotel and I wasn’t disappointed. Lovely Lamb Vindaloo, pilau rice and two chipati.I would rate this restaurant a good 7 out of ten for food quality.

My family and I had a lovely dinner here tonight. It’s very good value with a set meal option and kids choices. The employees were very friendly and attentive also. All in all 5/5 for service, quality of food & value. The set meal is £14.95 and the portions were just right. We’ll be returning soon. Thanks guys!

First time here & did not disappoint. Food is superb, the service is great & your not waiting ages for your food to arrive. Would recommend trying this restaurant
