we visited here 2 weeks ago... what a huge disappointment.... my friend was visiting from Australia and I thought holy island would be a lovely day out..... the 1st place we stopped was the centre... a lady ( in her fifties, long blond hair( was working... as we looked around gift shop before going in... she was so rude to customers, everything seemed like a huge inconvenience to her ( tourists!) , my friend waited to pay for a book..she placed it on the counter only to be snapped at... I'm already serving".... there were two ladies

We had a great walk around here.I loved watching the video about the vikings and hearing about when they came over.My daughter enjoyed some of the interactive things to do and it has a great little shop

Absolute wonderful place. Holy island is a treasure. Seeing where the pilgrims crossed, such a historical place. Beautiful and tranquil.

A large island with a ruined priory and castle. Remember to check the tide times to cross the causeway.
