The food was nice and tasty. Sirloin steak was a little on the fatty tough side and could've been a bit more hotter when arriving to our table. Service was of decent timing and polite waitress. Would visit again.

We felt welcome and were hosted so nicely. Everyone had a smile for us and our 5yr old. Even those who weren't waiting on our section still took the time to come chat with us and make sure we were OK. All our food was delicious. The portions generous. The deserts were yummy as well. And it was all brought out with a smile. Definitely would recommend to others and will come back for another visit.

Went to Miller & Carter Wheathampstead, for Father's Day meal. Great atmosphere, it was very busy, so pleasantly surprised how quickly the food came out. Lovely cocktails, good food. Definitely recommend the ribs & the espresso Martini.

We visited Sunday afternoon, had the butchers block sharer meal. It was out of this world. Served by the adorable keenly.Atmosphere great , sat by the river , we saw fish and ducks passing by.Lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon

The food was fabulous, sadly it took 45 minutes for it to arrive. Some tables sat uncleared and it's clear that whilst having a fabulous chef and a beautiful place.. something was lacking on this day. On notifying the staff we were still waiting for our food, it came within 5 minutes, hopefully this was just a one off as I highly recommend the food and the Bao bun was to die for.

The Lady who served us was great, attentive without being too overbearing. Steaks could have been cooked a little better. My medium was more like med-well done and my partners Med-Well was very well done, both had had too long in the pan or oven. Less cooking and more resting would have been better. Also proper custard as an option for the warm deserts would have been nice.

We started off with the calamari which was well cooked but a bit on the salty side for me, but husband liked the saltiness. We got the sirloin medium rare 30 day aged which was very good and the beef dripping sauce was amazing! Highly recommend, it was out of this world. Also enjoyed the passion fruit cooler mocktail. We’ll be back!4 stars because our mains could have come a bit quicker and our plates also could have been cleared faster. It was a busy Friday night, it felt like they could have done with more staff.

Quite a bit of a let down, used to be a very good restaurant with an upmarket feel but is now looking and feels very tired, service was very rushed and felt like you had to get over and done with quick. Table was dirty and menu was covered in food stains, price of food does not match the overall experience
