What a treat to have gluten free fish & chips (that doesn’t even taste gluten free !!). Myself and my partner both agree that this is the best fish and chips we have ever had. As a coeliac, it was so refreshing to find that the whole menu could be made gluten free. 10/10 recommend - the ladies serving were lovely too!

My friend and I arrived at The Rocketeer around 4:45PM. We were seated right away and the kind server took our order very quickly. The windows surrounding the whole restaurant allowed us to catch the end of the sunset on the water, which was such a nice experience! We received our food around 15-20 minutes after ordering, and it was phenomenal - easily some of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had! The batter was crispy, and the fish was perfectly flaky. The double-dipped chips were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

We went North Berwick suddenly. We did not know what it was like or what to do. We had a night free, got the train , thought should go somewhere seaside. Lovely place despite the windy weather. We saw the Rocketeer, was hungry, went there, on the menu u may think not too many options, but the best fish nd chips, the best squid! Fresh and tasty! Reasonable price.stronly recommended!

I was here at the weekend and I ordered 4 fish and chips at 13.25 each. Now I have no problem paying for good quality food however every single piece of fish had at the very least 10+ bones in it. I know this is a hazard with fish but this was quite extreme. Given i eat fish all the sime i was suprised at the carelessness, this is something i have never came across before.The reason for my poor review is the bones and also the portion as you can see from the picture the size of the chips was minimal. They barely covered the bottom. For that price I would expect more. I spend £54 (add cans of diet coke) to be hungry and unsatisfied its really not ideal and certainly not what you want when you pay those prices. I suggest to others that you simply go elsewhere. I imagine I am not the only one who feels portion and quality is poor here and this will not be a surprise to the owners and staff.

During peak hours they managed to find a table for us. Nice service. The order was delivered quickly. Very large portion. Very nice view from the restaurant.

Had a very nice lunch yesterday at the rocketeer. Staff extremely friendly and the fish I had was Lovley. Definitely recommend you visit when in north Berwick.
