A Waller & Son

Recently, A Waller & Son collaborated with the Cambridge University Cardiothoracic Society to host a suturing event using pig hearts. In short, they were friendly, flexible and their products were well-priced. I cannot recommend their service enough!

We have shopped here for 40 years or so. Always courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. Locally raised beef is superb and prices very reasonable.

Brought a Bissett joint Saturday 29th 4 23 ,cooked it Sunday 30th Very fatty and tasted off.ruined Sunday lunch. VERY Disappointed.

Poor service and the steak quality was mediocre at best. I went to the butcher for good service and good quality. I wanted a thick cut appropriate for BBQ grilling. Instead, I got a gruff take it or leave it" attitude about the meat cut

I have lived in Cambridge for 35 years and have been going to this wonderful butchers on and off throughout the years. They have never let me down and have remained the nicest most courteous people. During lockdowns they have delivered on time and with a smile. Their meat and other produce is of the highest quality and never disappoints. I hadn't thought to post a review before but their latest above and beyond service prompted me to do so. I wanted a turkey crown but hadn't ordered it in time . I phoned on the off chance I would be able to get one at short notice and of course they were able to help! In these troubling and uncertain times it is comforting to know that these kind of traditional shops which are usually family run are still going strong and haven't changed their values. Thank you!

I always go here when shopping for a nice joint of meat (typically leg of lamb), and they never disappoint.

Lovely butcher. We always go here when we want top quality meat for a Sunday roast or bbq. Guys are super helpful as well.

The best joints in town. Their 27 day aged ribeye and sirloin is fantastic. Great sausages and they make a wicked pork pie. Unassuming professional service. Got some stilton from them yesterday on a whim and that was top quality too.
