Spent a day here, celebrating a special birthday of a friend, it's a lovely place, hidden away in a village local to me. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the day was perfect. We were given just the right amount of attention, not stood over but explained everything we needed to know. We all choose a massage as our treatment and everyone seemed very happy with their massage I know I was. The grazing boards for lunch were lovely, I shared with another vegetarian and we both thoroughly enjoyed our food.It was a lovely relaxing day spent with friends, it's not a big fancy spa with lots of rooms but it doesn't pretend to be.It's the perfect place to meet up and relax with friends and definately somewhere I will return to.

An excellent place to kick back and relax with friends.It was such a chilled experience, the therapist didn't rush us to have treatments, so we had plenty of time to relax in the spa area. (Which we didn't have to share!)Lovely grazing boards served in the dining area.We will be back!

Absolutely wonderful spa, massage was amazing. Grazing board was so lovely more than enough for 2 people. Gemma is lovely lady so approachable and chatty such a relaxing experience!

Such a lovey treat,can’t believe we hadn’t visited before but will be back many times!Such a relaxing and friendly atmosphere, felt very comfortable! The staff and facilities were incredible and the grazing board was excellent quality!We had a treatment each and felt like a million dollars!

I am so happy I found York Cottage Spa! Six of us friends booked a private day to celebrate my birthday and it could not have been more relaxing. The price included treatments for all of us and a very high quality and delicious food platter that filled all of us in the perfect way. The house and space is just beautiful, with absolutely everything and more than you could want. Gemma is an amazing host and each one of us loved our treatments with her. I love that she uses high quality natural products only. I had both the facial and a massage and I can’t wait to return again this weekend to have another early Christmas celebration with the same friends. I am also planning to go for a day with my husband. You will not regret booking this spa!

I had such an amazing experience here. My partner brought it for me as a gift. I spent the whole day getting pampered.Afternoon tea was faultless, the treatment was amazing and exclusive use of this venue was incredible. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Would 100% go back!!Regardless if you are a party of 2 or 20 all your needs would be met.Thank you for the fantastic service and facilities.

We came as a couple who had never done a spa day before. We came on a Monday and were the only ones there so it was an amazing experience. It is so quiet and very personal as such a small venue, but was just what we wanted.The facilities were very good and the afternoon tea was delicious, so much on there.The massage from Gemma was so relaxing. Will definitely return, money well spent.

I was surprised with a birthday trip to York Cottage Spa. We had use of the facilities, full body massage and back, neck and shoulder massage with a grazing platter for lunch. The treatments were really relaxing and tailored to our needs. It is a smaller spa compared to others in the area, however it felt a lot more personal and the facilities were amazing. The platter was very fresh and tasty too! Nothing was too much, everyone was very friendly and made our visit very special.Would highly recommend and would definitely visit again.

I have been to the York cottage spa a few times now with family and friends. It's so special because you have the place to yourself a real sense of exclusivity! The afternoon tea is also really tasty and generous. I can't wait to return again after having my second baby, some relaxation is definitely on the cards and I can't think of anywhere else I'd like to go!

Had a spa day with my mum for our birthdays. This is the 2nd time we have been and really enjoyed our time here. It’s a really intimate small spa with a homely feel. The afternoon tea was delicious. Definitely recommend if you want a unique quiet spa.
