Chestnut Farm Holiday Park
We have just had a great 2 days, we stayed in the Darling 2 bed cottage, clean and comfortable with great outdoor space in front of the cottage, close to a small park, walking distance to a local pub and also to the river where you can get a water taxi into the centre of York. Would highly recommend, we will definitely be booking again.

Excellent location, quiet and left alone by owners. Could do with a slight lick of paint and toilets didnt flush very well. Hubby a plumber so he sorted for us.We were over from Australia visiting and it was great accommodation to base ourselves from for a few days. Lots of spiders though in house, made us feel homesick lol x

We stayed in the holiday cottages in the park they were lovely. They were homely and comfortable for our family of four with everything we needed for our stay. We walked to the village pub for a lovely dinner one night and the kids enjoyed watching the boats on the river.

Stayed in Darling cottage, everything you need is in the cottage when you arrive. Cottage very cosy and comfortable. Its in a nice area of york, and 20 minutes from york centre or park and ride. Owners are such lovely people and make you feel very welcome. Would reccommended Chestnut Farm to anybody that wants a relaxing week away.

Been here several times & always received a very warm welcome. Site kept clean & tidy, facilities good if your touring. We have stayed in one of the static vans which has everything you need.

Chestnut Farm Holiday Park
We stayed in the Cowper Cottage last week which was cosy and had everything we needed. Just a 10 minute drive outside of York but lovely and peaceful for recharging the batteries. Lovely courtyard out side which we sat out on most nights with a glass of wine. The river is a 2 minute walk away where you can get the river taxi into York and a lovely pub that served food just down the road. There was also a lovely welcome basket with wine, crisps, chocolate, tea, coffee and milk which was a lovely touch when we arrived. Will recommend to all family and friends and hopefully re-book next year.

I stayed here This weekend while my parents hired a Caravan over the last few weeks. The Holiday Park is really good with everything you need on site like toilets, Washing machine and dryer plus washing facilities. The Caravans are really good and comfortable to stay in.

Chestnut Farm Holiday Park
Really a lovely place to stay and visit. A small family run business, I call it my home away from home. We have been twice now, we travel up from Brighton. Very welcoming, very clean and tidy. Lovely and warm in the winter. (cottage we stayed in two different ones)Not too far from York City centre. There's a big tesco mega store for food shopping near by. A little village too with a bakery and Post office. Been told of a few good pubs in the area for food and so on but there was covid restrictions when we went so maybe we will visit those next year.
