Almost 5 weeks later and I have my car back after EGR valve failure; it had to be recovered to Vertu York as this was the nearest branch to when I broke down. I live in Doncaster. 5 weeks without any updates, or a courtesy car. Anyway everything has been done and the car is back to normal. However...when collecting my car, the person I spoke to said It's outside ready and washed for you". I'm not sure how this can be considered washed. 5 weeks my car has been there and nobody has even bothered. The funny thing is it even states on the invoice a complimentary wash and vacuum has been carried out. I'm really not happy with this particular branch whatsoever and now I have my car back I won't be coming here again

Booked 6 weeks in advance to have 2 tyres changed and an alignment done. After 45 mins in the waiting room, someone popped out to say they didn't have the correct size tyres in stock... Absolutely pathetic.

I was contacted 4 times about a super sales event by three different people, when I said yes I’ll look at the new offers to change my car early I was met with terrible p/x price over £1000 under comparison websites which don’t take into account additional spec and a 4% new car discount offer. It took me a whole 2 minutes to find a better deal. Why even have a sales event if you’re not offering event type discount or even competitive discounts.

BMW Dealership on the outskirts of York. Easy to find and access. Undertook all the sales negotiations via phone and email. Very responsive to enquiries and stood by their initial px valuation even when I had to order a factory rather than an in stock model. If you are in the market for a new or used BMW definitely worth contacting. Other BMW dealerships could learn a thing or two from Vertu.

Quiet a stressful visit last time i went in was told it would be ready in a day it was 2 got my car bk to have most of my wired hanging out for my hands free kit bought a air freshener what was just on the seat wasnt even told how to fit it

I had my '71 plate 1 Series' holed kidney grill replaced due to my hitting a deer. I was pleased that the deer got up and walked away, seemingly shaken, but not stirred, as Bond might put it. As the deer had no insurance it left me with a costly repair, however I was treated courteously all along the way of getting the repair done. The work was professionally done and the car now has it's good looks back. Thank you Vertu.

I ordered a new BMW 330e from Vertu in York at the start of February 2023 but it never arrived.They gave me an estimated delivery date of 1st June in writing and verbally. That was already quite a long time to wait for a car but when that date arrived they said that the delivery time had changed to mid-September! If I had been given that date in February, I would not have ordered the car. However, I reluctantly accepted the change.In early September, I contacted Vertu and they told me that my car was on a ship from Mexico, where they are manufactured and they would contact me when it arrived in the UK.They missed their mid-September delivery date. They didn't contact me to apologise - I had to contact them. Now they said that the car was still in Mexico and not on a ship! I envisaged my car in a dusty parking lot in the heat in Mexico. I asked them what the new delivery date was for the car and they said that they couldn't give a date!At this point I had had enough of them, so I cancelled the car. I waited the best part of a year for a car that never came. Maybe BMW is partly to blame for manufacturing problems but I feel very disappointed with Vertu for not being honest about the delivery and changing the story about the car being on the ship.I also didn't feel good about the people at Vertu. A couple of times I went to their showroom in York and there was nobody at reception and nobody came to greet me. There were people in their nearby service and sales departments who saw that I was waiting but did nothing and left me waiting about ten minutes each time.

Excellent car dealership. We made an enquiry in the morning and had my new (used) car bought by 5pm. Communication and customer service was amazing. We dealt with Neil Bowling and he could not have been nicer, his manner and customer focus was second to none. A true credit to the dealership. We will definitely be back for my husbands car in 2024!

Had my vehicle in the workshop for a major service. Vertu BMW York were not my usual service partner, having recently moved to York mid-week from Manchester, but I will definitely use them again. The Vertu Alternative Transport collect & drop-off service is incredibly useful. The driver who collected my vehicle (Jonny if I recall correctly) was friendly and highly professional, taking time to chat with me when he dropped my car off. He is a real credit to the team. Sarah kept me updated throughout the day and again she was friendly and highly professional. I am looking forward to visiting Vertu BMW York when my vehicle is due for changing.

Bought a BMW there on June 2021 - paying two hundred pounds for delivery but they just paid a driver for driving the car to me. When I receive the car, it is really dirty.Customer service offered a full valet so we agreed that I took to a local car wash and send the receipt for refund, but I haven’t receive the refund yet.Update (Nov 2): received the refund already, thank you.
