Oakley Farm Caravan Park

Lovely little quiet site. Despite being so close to the A34 there was no road noise. Washblock was spotlessly clean and perfectly adequate. Thank you for your pricing which looks after solo campers well. Will definitely stay again.

Enjoyed my 2 night stay went to Highclere Castle downton Abbey, site was basic but clean good value , and Michael is a lovely man

Very nice and quiet camping Park with a very friendly old groundsman. Despite the distant noise of the A34 the area is very beautiful with Downton Abbey at cycling distance (buy a ticket in advance). We'll be back the next time we're coming across the channel.

Lovely site. Spotlessly clean and so quiet, and the owners are really friendly and helpful. A couple of minutes from the A34 and very reasonably priced so a great spot to break up your journey if you're heading for the ferry. No dogs allowed due to previous irresponsible owners.

One of the best camp sites I’ve ever visited! I wanted to enjoy the bank holiday weekend with my other half. The campsite as a whole, from staff to facilities was amazing! The staff are very kind and look after the campsite and all the facilities very well! A great relaxing weekend recommendation.

This is without doubt a smashing little site. Reasonably priced too. Although it's close to the A34, it was very quiet. No dogs allowed- hallelujah. I'm not anti- dog, but they can be a real nuisance. Amenity block was basic, but adequate. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer. Didn't use them, but I'm sure they are popular. If you like tennis, take rackets and balls. The court needed a clean, otherwise it looked serviceable. We will definitely return next near (god willing).

What an amazing site! Price, cleanliness, great site layout and of course the gorgeous walks near by..I used to go camping an awful lot when I was younger and this site by far had some of the best kept facilities, never seen such clean bogs! Me and my partner came down for the bank holiday weekend and we will definitely be returning in the near future. Keep up the great work guys!.

Really great little campsite, fantastic value. We try to avoid The camping & caravanning club sites due to the Insane costs and usually being run by complete stiffs. This is a little gem. Clean and tidy with basic facilities.

Even though the facilities are spotlessly clean and quite well kitted out, the low score is due to:One, the constant background droning noise from the A34, which if you’re used to live in a quiet area, it can do your head in, as it did for us.But mainly, the miserable old man running it who made us feel so unwelcome with his attitude and narky comments. On the second day, he made us move from our perfect pitch, claiming someone else was coming - not only he did not mention that when we arrived but he also gave us the clear impression it was okay to stay there more than one night.And, yes you guessed it, no one came over the next couple of days.He tried to move us to the crappiest space right next to the toilets, even though the site was quite empty.Although we had ramps, it took us ages to find a space flat enough, which also seemed to annoy him (well, shouldn’t have made us move in the first place, then).Needless to say we won’t be coming back not recommending this site.
