Baxter's Dog Training & Behaviour

I contacted Danielle after seeing her details at Stretton House Dog Park - our 2 year old lab is full of energy and enthusiasm and full of power! He had been pulling us all when out on walks and just didn't listen to us, making dog walks something to dread rather than enjoy. After just 2 sessions, Danielle has given the whole family the tools to help get control back. I wish we'd known about her sooner! He is still full of enthusiasm but we now know how to handle him and he seems a happier dog because of it. I would highly recommend !

From the very start Danielle established an amazing relationship with our 3 month old golden retriever Zeus (now 5 1/2). With her training and expert knowledge she has helped us alleviate any nerves as first time dog owners, which has in turn allowed Zeus to thrive in our home! His biting problem has practically stopped and our clothes are no longer at risk from teeth marks, his walking behaviour is more confident and there are plenty of training techniques Danielle has put into place to further support his development as he socialises more with other dogs and people. Could not recommend enough, she’s been outstanding and I’m sure Zeus will miss her weekly visits!

I can’t give Danielle even one star after my experience. When I met up with her to discuss behaviour issues of my dog and training she was lovely and very attentive to what I had to say. She promised me she can work with me and change his reactive behaviour. Her suggestion was to go for 6 months but at a time I was not 100% certain. She kept messaging for over a month and it seemed as tho she’s interested in helping Milo. I decided to purchase 3 months for £240 as I could not afford the 6 months. Danielle tool over a month to acknowledge my payment and come with her plan to discuss start date. It was only when I contacted mutual friend she reached out. I understand she was in a difficult personal and financial situation but she knew that when she was taking me on as a client. She has been to visit me 3x out of the 12 sessions I should have had when we did a walk. Last time I heard from her was beginning of December when we both agreed we won’t work on his behaviour until New Year. I reached out in the NY and not heard back. My messages were ignored. I’m now out of pocket for a promised service I didn’t get and I no longer sympathise with Danielle as if she knew she cannot put her heart and time into the training of my dog she should have not pressured on helping and taking me on as a client. I will be seeking refund or a legal action to get my money back. I do regret believing her words and wish she was honest with me before I paid.

We hired Danielle to help with some behavioural issues with our cavapoo and to help introduce our new puppy westipoo into the household. Danielle was great, extremely knowledgeable and really helped solve the problems we had. Would highly recommend and we will likely be contacting her again for some top up sessions in the future.

Danielle contacted me through ‘Bark’ a month or so ago. We initially booked one session just to make sure my dog liked Danielle.. within 10 minutes of them meeting he absolutely loved her! I have a 5 year old German shepherd who was really bad with pulling and reacting to other dogs.. we still have a few sessions left with Danielle but she has already brought my dog on leaps and bounds. I can now confidently walk him knowing he won’t react to other dogs and he is 100 times better on the lead. I never used to be able to walk him on my own and since Danielle has been helping us I can walk him and get him to listen to me. She really is amazing and puts her heart and soul into it, always telling me about the dogs she’s helping and how much she loves her job. Highly recommend, amazing at her job and such a genuine person :)

Would definitely recommend! Danielle was amazing with our dog- a 5 month old German Shepherd puppy. In the space of 4 weeks he gone from being very unruly to knowing loads of tricks, having great recall and knowing that stop means stop when playing. We cannot thank you enough! Also VERY reasonably priced!

I found Danielle (Baxters School of Dog Training) on Google as I needed help with our 2 Border Terriers (age 5 & 2). Since we got the youngest she has always been very reactive on lead and this has caused our eldest to pick up bad habits.I booked a 4 week behavioral course after Danielle had been to our house and seen both dogs, they are fairly well behaved just have a few moments when on walks.Danielle comes with you on your dog walks to see what issues need resolving and has some fantastic ideas and solutions. After our 4 weeks I have to say what a less stressful time I have when we go out, distraction, squeaky toys and treats have got my 2 terriers to notice me instead of barking at every other animal in sight. The youngest still shouts at cats but with the techniques I've learnt I'm confident we'll get this to stop.

Absolutely amazing trainer, Danielle really knows her stuff and has all the latest information on scientific findings..lovely person, reasonable prices, and adaptable if you need to rebook, fully recommend. Stopped my dogs pulling and taught him patience when waiting for something he wants

Highly recommend Danielle!We have a very bouncy Labrador pup and Danielle put together a training plan that allowed us to take back control in the house! We’re also able to take Luna on long walks without the worry of her running off!Excellent training, service and price! Thank you Danielle!

Danielle was working with my granddaughter and her 5 year old German shepherd. They had their last session today and all I can say is.. wow. The change in not only the dog but also my granddaughter and her confidence in walking him is amazing. Danielle has brought him on leaps and bounds, he is a completely different dog. Danielle really puts her all into her work, and gives 100% effort, which really shows in the end results. My family have struggled with walking their dog for a while now but since training with Danielle they all love to walk him and have noticed a huge change. He’s so much more relaxed and doesn’t react to other dogs much at all now, whereas he used to drag you across the road and would go crazy at sight of another dog. Couldn’t fault Danielle one bit, she’s been absolutely amazing and I will definitely be recommending:)
