After another garage diagnosed a fault with my gearbox, I took it to Hardy's for their opinion. Neil took the time to take the car for a test drive, explain the problem which wasn't gearbox related and recommended another garage for the work as they were busy. You judge a business on the people, and Neil is an absolute superstar.

Brilliant garage with very friendly staff, bought an MX-5 to them with a leaking differential, other garages I asked either refused the job or wanted to replace the whole unit but the team recommended I pick up a £20 seal which they replaced on the car for an hour and a half of labour. Would 100% recommend as it seems harder and harder to find garages that actually fix parts instead of just replacing everything - better for the planet and your pocket!

I have used Hardy Engineering twice in recent years, to rebuild the gearboxes and differentials on an E-Type Jaguar and MG Midget. In both cases the results were superb - the only problem is the parts don't leak any more so I don't have visual indication that they still contain oil! Excellent service, friendly team.
