I am a woman in my 60s and I remember going there when I was little with my dad, it was run by the grandfather then with 1 greenhouse. It has come on a great lot. However reading other reviews, ie no cafe, a bit shabby well I think you may best go to the other well known garden centres with there lovely car parks, and super cafe, and the hefty price tags on their plants !!

I love this place - excellent plants, professional advice and a huge range all year round. I've been using them for about 5 years now and I seldom go anywhere else. Very helpful, thoroughly recommend them.

Visited this nursery for the first time to buy some hedging after a friend recommended the place to me.Love it!! Good quality plants and very knowledgeable friendly staff.Would I go again? I returned the day after to buy more.My new favourite place to shop.

Small and family run this business has a good range of standard vegetable and garden plants. There is little that's unusual or groundbreaking but that's partly about the location and the size. Some additional items and a good range of pots. You won't necessarily find everything you're looking for but it's worth trying. They sell trees and wreaths at Christmas as well. Staff do their jobs well and will answer your questions whilst bringing their own neurodiverse take on customer service.
