Stanfield dry cleaners & Laundry

I use Stanfield at least once a week and couldn’t recommend then enough. Great value for money and friendly service.

Always do a good clean at a reasonable price.The only issue is how long it takes clothes to be turned around. They do not wash every day, so it can be up to a week before you can expect an item back

They are always very courteous, the quality of the cleaning is always great, and we have a lot of delicate fabrics that need cleaning, as well as being very fussy. We’ve been using them for 4 or 5 years after trying half a dozen other cleaners and have had no complaints so far. Would highly recommend them.

Not impressed at all. I Asked if a repair could be done to my jacket and I was assured it could id just have to wait a week for it to be done. when I came back to collect jacket, they handed it over to me, only for me to see the repair was half done!! So I was told to come back again in a couple days. I paid the money charged, trusting it was going to be sorted however After coming back again to collect it for the second time, the lady told me they can’t fix it and that it was “miscommunication”, which I really don’t understand as I was assured by her!! so not only was I over charged for the half done work but also lied to from the start and a lot of my time wasted. Very disappointing, as the good reviews led me to this shop.

I tried this dry cleaners for the first time based on the reviews and feel it only right to share my experience which is quite to the contrary. Dropped 2 items off on Monday to collect Thursday. Thursday I receive a text message saying they can’t clean one of my items as they thought it was a different material and that it will cost £10 more and will take another week to do. Not only did I receive this communication on the day I was meant to collect it, I was being expected to wait another week for their error and be charged additional money for their oversight (despite the label clearly saying dry clean only when I gave it to them which they looked at). Apparently they tried to call but didn’t leave a voicemail. Overall terrible communication, in no way dealt with their mistakes and were rude/unprofessional in how they spoke to me. I was keen to support this local business at a tough time but I certainly won’t be using them again if they can’t be professional to paying customers.

Excellent laundry, dry cleaning (especially cashmere) and alterations - Aurelia and team are friendly and highly professional!

I brought a dress in which needed to be altered for my 40th. It was done within days! Such amazing people and outstanding customer service. My dress was beautiful. Thank you.
