I tried a few places to hire a suit and being a big person had issues with suit sizes in stores such as suits direct, moss bros and m&s etc... They usually hook you in with a 80quid quote on the phone only to find it's gonna be 160 and you have to buy it as they don't have your size to rent nor is it in stock so come back later to collect it. Don't bother with all that messing about... Get yourself to Freedmans instead.Freedmans is not stressful like the others at all. I had used them before when a friend got married and used these guys to cater the suit hiring. They were great then and were brilliant again today.A simple wander in to the store try a few things out and get measured and they will have it sorted within 5 working days usually less. No faffing about and I found also that they were cheaper than moss bros and suits direct too for hiring. So it's a total no brainer.To summarise if you value your time use these guys instead of the other cowboys in the suit trade.

Very friendly local suit hire shop. The service is streets ahead of what you will find bigger name chains.Can sort you out at short notice.

Fantastic range of clothes for hire for every formal occasion. The only thing they dont hire is shoes and you can purchase these in store. Reasonably priced and picked up from the shop a couple of days before your event. The staff are very attentive and will help you decide the best kit for your event.

Ordered suits for my wedding, all the men were measured up prior to picking up the suits. The suits were availabile 7 days prior to the wedding.When we collected the suits, only 2 out of the 8 suits fitted well, the remaining 6 needed altering. Not ideal 7 days before the wedding when their openng times are limited and we were getting married on a Saturday. The Groomsen all work full time this created an added stress!

The suits we rented looked really smart and were complimented by all in attendance. Fitted well and were comfortable.We did however have a few issues. Many of the items had to be returned and swapped due to stains. Some of the shirts we rented had to be washed due to dirty collars. So we went to alot of trouble and I was glad we gave ourselves a week with the suits before the event rather than picking them up the day before. This was a real shame as things felt a little last minute" with the shop when we had places a deposit on these suits over a year in advance."

Had two suits Made to Measure at Freedman’s for my son and myself for his wedding last weekend. We both looked fantastic. If you want a suit that fits properly for a big occasion get one Made to Measure at Freedman’s. Highly recommended.

I was maybe about 15/16 years old when I first went into this shop and I couldnt believe the warmth I got as soon as I walked in. I unfortunately don't remember the gentleman's name but he did not discriminate me at all for being young, he told me all about my clan before I even asked what he could do for me!He very kindly help me find something I could have made in my tartan, and even though I only had a part time job at the time he was so patient with me turning up with a little bit of money to pay off my balance every couple of days until he was able to send off the order! I will never forget that, and only recently now hoping to do business with them again at the age of 26.
