New West End Synagogue - St.Petersburgh Place
I went there around beginning of March found the Rabbi to be friendly he talks very clearly like his speech and the synagogue has a lovely choir and events beautiful synagogue the congregation are very friendly very generous kiddush tasty food and nice cup of tea.

This place is beautiful inside and out. The Rabbi is a warm and welcoming fellow, we had Pesach Seder here. It’s sad to see the amount of security needed though.

New West End Synagogue - St.Petersburgh Place
The astonishing splendor of the stained glass windows and granite settings speaks of the wealth of the Very Important Men who built this place. Basement toilets are more prosaic. A mid Victorian machzor is de rigueuer in places like this. Every Judaic accoutrement - slate Omer counter, two different menorahs, the Rabbi's elaborate pulpit - all outstanding. As a lived house of prayer? I'm not sure.

The most wonderful synagogue within the United Kingdom. Exceptional people with an Exceptional Rabbi and Choir. Beautiful building, though very unfriendly towards visitors. Most inhospitable. Security denied access to friends and family on Shabbat because they are not members of the synagogue. I've never heard of anything more horrible and opposite of Jewish values.

Lovely experience ! I visited the shul on shabbat and found it most welcoming and an enjoyable serviceThe chazzan and choir were wonderful and the Rabbi spoke very well . A nice kiddush followed the service . Hope to return !

The New West End Synagogue, located in St. Petersburgh Place, Bayswater, London. This is one of the oldest and undoubtedly the most beautiful synagogue buildings in London and, indeed, in the country.
