I am a first-time buyer and was completely clueless about mortgages and house buying, both in terms of the whole process and also the Help to Buy scheme I needed to use.Laura has been exceedingly helpful throughout, explaining everything in detail and in a way I could understand, answering all of my many questions and being very proactive and timely in her replies, especially when we were working to very tight deadlines.I couldn't recommend Laura more; she is personable, really easy to talk to, very profession and exceedingly helpful. My daughter and I have both received great service from Laura and Alex at Citygate. We had a slightly complicated situation and knew we needed to use a mortgage broker. The original broker we used was not terribly helpful. We then tried Citygate and felt that Laura understood our position quickly and would do everything she could to find a solution. Soon enough we had worked through several options with her and found a great mortgage offer that we're very happy with. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This was the first time we've used a mortgage broker to arrange a (re-)mortgage and we couldn't be more pleased we found Laura and Alex. They guided us through the whole process, including reviewing our protection insurance, and always had time for our questions. They also fought our corner when the solicitor tried to charge us more than the agreed quote, which we wouldn't have had the knowledge to do. Not to mention that both Laura and Alex are so pleasant and friendly to deal with. I'm certain we will be back!
