Volunteers go above and beyond to ensure welfare of greyhounds comes first. They work tirelessly behind the scenes and despite some volunteers having full time jobs themselves,they are there come rain or shine to ensure the greyhounds are looked after,socialised and cared for. You will not find a more devoted and loyal branch as Hall Green.

Run completely by volunteers who give up their time to help these wonderful dogs get their forever homes. Always welcoming and very knowledgeable about the breed. The after care given when a dog goes to a home is excellent, always on the end of a phone to offer advice and if they don't know the answer they will find someone who does and support you through that problem.

We recently adopted our fourth greyhound from Hall Green greyhounds. The volunteers are professional, dedicated, helpful and knowledgeable. They recognise that all greyhounds have different personalities and do their utmost to match adopters with a suitable dog. They are on hand for advice both before and after adoption. Highly recommend.

A fantastic Branch, self funding, and volunteer lead so all the money raised goes back to the hounds. 279 hounds homed in 2021 a record for the Branch and well deserved. With 2 sites in Stourbridge and Shenstone, their devotion is amazing. We have homed 6 greyhounds from them.

You thinking of giving a home to a beautiful greyhound, then you have come to the right place. An amazing team of volunteers to help match you to a greyhound to become part of your family. You would struggle to find a homing centre with as much knowledge, love and care for the greyhounds they look after until they find a home.The fact they have homed over 3, 000 greyhounds since they became an independent branch of the Greyhound Trust speaks volumes.I wouldn't go anywhere else now for a greyhound and there will be plenty more in the future...

I adopted my lovely greyhound, Erin, two months ago after having fostered a few hounds previously. HGGT is run entirely by volunteers and it's a huge operation that runs smoothly and efficiently. Everyone I've encountered is totally dedicated to the work of caring for and re-homing these delightful animals and gives of their time and energy selflessly.Even after adoptions have taken place there is ongoing support for the hounds and their owners. especially if a crisis occurs.

The staff could not have been more helpful as we explored the possibility of adopting a retired greyhound, discovering which might suit us, and introducing us to several possibilities until we found the one that is right for us. Their understanding and care for each greyhound is outstanding, and they gladly share their hard won expertise with those of us who are new to the breed. We gladly commend the breed and the Trust.
